Hi I'm new to this community. I love PPY ever since I got the first DVD from Netflix. It is one of my top favorite anime. I'm going to be cosplaying Glenda (in her graduation dress) this year for Otakon, so hopefully I will have pictures to post here for everyone. I will also try to submit some icons here, since this place needs a little pumping up. ^.^ |

So, uh, I'm still pretty much into my Cube obsession. I just finished rush-watching the series save for Ep 9-12 on Youtube, and mostly I was just trawling for stuff about Cube.
Some of the episodes didn't load for me though, but if anyone's got information like random trivia (e.g. why Cube is so short D: ) or background stuff that was dropped in the anime, please let me know~
Ah, and I'll also be screening all the comments to this entry. You know, in case of an argument about spoilers.

Hi everyone.
I just started watching. I just finished Episode 4 and I love the show so far. I'm in the process of downloading the whole season and will be buying the box set some time in the future. This show is so cute and I was surprised to see the lack of cosplays from this show. I was able to find 2. So depending on the amount of time I have I really want to cosplay The Princess From Hell, I love her Character so much.
So I just wanted to say Hi, and if you want to send some nice reference images my way I would be more then happy to accept them. |

| HAY GUYS! Quick question - feedback appreciated! |

Ok, so for those who didn't know, I've been planning a giant PPY database I've affectionately dubbed "Sunset Bright: A Puchi Puri Infosplurge". I was planning on putting this all up on a site when I get it together, but then I had other thoughts. I'm thinking of just making it a Ehl Jay comm now. (I've actually worked out a way that would make it possible, yeah.) In addition to that, I'd be updating it as-it-goes instead of just when it was all finished, like originally planned.
My question to y'all: what do you think I should do (or what would y'all be more interested in)? Should I just Ehl Jay it (making it all a whole lot easier) and start the updates now, or should I just wait 'til it's all done and post it on a site somewhere? I'm leaning more towards the Ehl Jay bit, but since it's more a info thing for other fans I wouldn't want to do that if it'd be a put-offer. Any feedback is much appreciated! |

...yeah, I feel I should apologize for like...totally ditching the fandom. I swear I have more in the works, it's just...well, to be perfectly frank...my muse was abducted by aliens. A very swish alien in pinstripes traveling via Police Box. (Horrible excuse, I know...)
Out of curiousity - I've been posting the links to Wishfics, but would y'all like me to start giving the FF.net links instead? Doesn't matter to me, but I wasn't sure if anyone had a preference or something. |

Hey guys! I'm new to both this community and Petite Princess Yucie. I've only seen about eight episodes (give or take) since my only access to the show of late has been through my On Demand service of the Anime Network. So far I am most amused by the Nyan? The Underworld Is Full Of Cats episode <3. The whole demon world is actually my favorite ^___^! Anyway, this is just my intro. |

I was gonna wait 'til I had a few other fics besides this one, but I guess I'll put it up now. Be warned: it's crap. Seriously, it's...really bad. I blame the Cucie elements in it, 'cause I have a really hard time picturing them as a couple, so it's really hard for me to write 'em. I was gonna just wait until I had all the info gathered and was putting the site together to upload the pics, and then I finished screencapping Ep1 with 989 caps. And I realized that maybe uploading as I go would be a lot easier. I have the images for the manga and the first episode done, but currently only the images for Ch1-2 of the manga and the official images are up. Hopefully I'll have the rest up tomorrow, and then I'll just continue uploading 'em as I go.

Hey, y'all! Got a question. I'm getting the information together for the Infosplurge (it'll be much easier assembling it if all I have to do is a bunch of copy-pasting), and the other night I was going through the song lyrics. Ran into a bit of a problem.
Does anyone have the Japanese lyrics to the "Rivals, Yet Friends" song (the one from ep21), or at least know where I can get 'em? I can get the English lyrics easily enough from the DVD, but I'd really like to put the original lyrics up, too. Also, does anyone have the full translation for "Egao No Tensai"? Again, I can get the lyrics from the DVDs, but they'll be for the shortened version (and I'd really like to get the full translation, since I'm trying to get the Splurge as detailed/complete as possible).

PPY Character Meme

Anyway, I was watching ep18 earlier and I had a thought.
And it's all about Mr. Gaga. Cube makes a comment in the ep about how Gaga is always ranting about his "over a thousand years as a steward", and something hit me:
The Platina Princess is born every thousand years, and Gaga has been a steward for over a thousand years. And, theoretically speaking, he's been a steward to the Demon World princess for over a thousand years. And we all know that a princess candidate is selected from each of the five worlds, and - except in Yucie's case, though this has been considered debatable to a certain extent - all the candidates are the princesses of their worlds.
So, here's my question. Mr. Gaga, what the heck is your problem? You would think he woudl remember a little detail like his princess dying because of the Eternal Tiara a thousand years ago, right? (Unless it was one of those "it's too traumatic - my mind's gonna block it out" deals.) If this was the case, why didn't he ever speak up? You would think that he would want the truth of the Tiara broadcasted publically - or that, when Gunberd was prancing through the Demon World collecting its piece of the Tiara, he would have stopped him because he knew it would lead to the deaths of the candidates - specifically speaking, his princess.
I guess what I'm trying to get to is this: do you guys think he remembered/knew the entire deal with the Tiara, if he's as old as he says he is? And if he did, why do you think he chose to stay silent about everything? (Apart from the whole "it would ruin the plot, duh!" argument, that is.) |

(Bet you guys never thought you'd hear from me again, huh? Happy to say that I've been anime-free since last August, but I still love PPY's story/plot. Good thing about the rehab, though, is that I have yet to get crazy-obsessive over any of it. Looks like quitting cold turkey was a good idea, huh? =) )
114-pic Custom Mood Theme set for Plus/Paid/Permanent Ehl-Jays.
Found out Plus accounts can use custom mood themes (something I've been wanting to do since I first saw someone's set back when I first joined LJ), and I whipped some up in some free time. Thought you guys might like to use 'em. (Taly, as with everything involving that screencap, the "Crazy" mood is all yours. ;P)
I'm currently using 'em in my regular LJ and my story LJ, so I can guarantee that they work. Go to Customize Journal > Look and Feel > Mood Icons, and at the end of the second sentence click "custom mood themes". Enter a name for the theme under "Create A New Theme", and once your theme's created click "Edit". All you should have to do is copy the pic URL and paste it, but if it asks you for the dimensions type 100 Width x 55 Height.
I titled the pictures with the mood they're s'pposed to go with. Some pics are used more than once (hence the double-mood in the title), but I'm pretty sure no pic is used more than three times (and even then I think there're only about two pics that do that). The list starts with "Angry", and that can be found at the last slot on p.6.
If you have any trouble, check the FAQ or ask me. Should be pretty simple, though - hopefully. ^^'` |
