AboutWelcome to the Psychology Professionals community! This is a community for people who are licensed mental health practitioners to talk with one another about our field. The community is open to psychologists, psychiatrists, marriage and family therapists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, etc.
A few rules...
1. Please speak respectfully to other community members. Spirited debate is welcome; personal attacks are not.
2. Please do not post any confidential client / case information here.
3. There are all ready some other counseling-related LJ communities that are open to grad students, pre-licensed professionals, and non-degreed "coaches," and so we ask that you respect the parameters of this community, which is open only to licensed mental health professionals.
4. This is not a forum where therapy is provided. If you are in need of a therapist's services, please contact your local or national psychological association for a referral. In the USA, http://www.nationalregister.com/ is a good place to look for a psychotherapy referral.
