A/N: This loosely (very loosely actually) fits the prompt. You might have to squint at it to see and it's implied, but...I think it's there.
Danielle’d had her child for one week before they had come.
Claire’s baby hadn’t even been born when they had taken her.
Sun feared for the safety of her own child more and more as the months of her pregnancy passed her by. Everyone went out of their way to help her, to protect her, to make her comfortable. Jin never left her side.
But the nights came and people slept, became less attentive. It wasn’t as though someone could keep their eyes on her at all times.
That was what they counted on. They were cunning and they were patient. They waited for the perfect time, the perfect moment, and she was gone.
“I don’t understand.”
“It’s very simple Sun. We need to protect the baby.”
“Is the baby in danger?”
“No, not now. But we can keep it safe.”
“I can protect my own child.”
“Not like we can. Trust us Sun.”
“How do you know my name?”
“That isn’t important. What is important is your child. It is very, very important.”
“What am I supposed to do?”
“All you need to do is breathe and stay calm. Trust us.”
…
“Alright.”
“Very good. Would you like another glass of water?”
He lead her into a small room with a large bed against one wall. Along the other, there sat a crib and next to it, a rocking chair. It was beautiful.
She sat down in the rocking chair, mindful of her even-enlarging stomach. She ran her hands along the smooth surface of the wood and looked up at the mobile as it sprung above the crib.
“See?” he asked. He was friendly enough. She just wished he’d tell her his name…or where she was. But if it was good for the baby…
“Nothing to worry about.” He told her with a reassuring smile. “Everything’s going to be fine.”
She smiled. She believed him. Everything was going to be alright. She was safe here. She and her baby were safe.
