Yo! How's everyone out there? My name is Sixx! There's a 99% chance that none of you guys will know me though, as I just started my LiveJournal today. In all my time of rocking out to various bands, I've not had the time to mess around on the almighty Internet (wow imagine that in this generation lol).

Anyway, I do like the idea of this community here, but let's remember not to force our beliefs on anyone, becuz that would make us worse than them ;)

I hope to be in hair-metal band like Motley Crue some day, I'm 21 and I can play guitar (by ear only though) so I guess that means I would be good enough to be in a 'nu-metal' band LOL.

Yeah, so .. just a 'what's up' and whatnot...!

I had a dream that there was a pseudofur MUCK. You had to be sponsored by a fellow pseudofur who could verify your pseudofurriness to get in. There were rules to ensure no furs could get in, except pseudofurs. And most importantly, I was on it. There is no emoticon mundane enough to express the absolute pseudofur pride I felt on being there. (And sorry for the previous language, TOS and all that.)

Can anyone relate? Is there such a MUCK, or would such a MUCK defeat the purupose of being a mundane fur?

Don't get me wrong, I've got a great deal of wonderful furry friends, but the fandom as a whole somewhat irks me more often than not.

I have a friend who draws highly coveted furry porn. She's gonna be named Allie for the rest of this post to protect the innocent. :D She shares my views, and we mock hardcore furries on a regular basis. Read on for evidence of such. :D

Hello. I was surfing the World Wide Web and fell through a rabbit hole via ElJay and found this. I'm a fur, but I think most furs are fucking creepy. I attend cons because I hope to walk in on some fucked-up orgy. I live for depravity, but I'd rather experience it second-hand.

So yeah, the name's Shane... but my fursona is 'Death Panda' (haha, wtf, i'm so lame). I'm in an experimental noise/post-hardcore/new-wave/whatever-the-fuck band called 'Ayin' LISTEN TO ME SING, LOLOLOL~~!!!.

I'm a pretty amiable guy who is obsessed with music (I own about 900 CDs). I enjoy meeting new people, so long as they're not fucking fat and stupid. So yeah, hope to meet some of you all someway/somehow.

I have read the topic for this community, and that led me to wonder: If a fur who considers themself a pseudofur still has a number of kinks usually associated wtih furry, does that invalidate their pseudofurdom? To me, I think it shouldn't. This leads me to ask a more general question: To you, what are the characteristics of pseudofurdom that differentiate themselves from full blown 'furries' and full blown 'mundanes'?

Perhaps there should be a pseudofurry FAQ, one to guide both mundanes who are fur-curious and full blown furs who no longer wish to be associated with the fandom, along with helping pseudofurs who themselves question their identity, or want to know more about this sub-sub-culture. I'm no good at writing formal FAQs, but I can contribute what little I know. What do you think?

I was thinking that if enough people from this community were going we could have a "pseudofur meet" at the convention and maybe get to know one another a bit. Possibly hang out in all of our awesome, better-than-thou-regular-fur glory. XD

And hey, maybe even a handful of us could split prices on a room or two.

I was just thinking of what I should make as my first post, and I decided not to make an inflammatory first post by making debate here, and instead am going to ask a simple question.

Which LJs client do you use? Do you ever use more than one, for any reason? Like, one that you use in general for convenience and looks, but the other you use if you need more power or features?

I hope to get to know you better with this question. I know an LJ client doesn't say a lot about a person, but I felt it was a good conversation to start with, and one where I wouldn't get flamed.

Stumbled across this little community here. Nice to know there's a happy medium between communities like furryfurryomgfurry and fursecution-arrghwehateyou-causeyou-havesexwithanimals. As you may or may not ~~care~~ know, I'm a little crazy...but in the good way. I don't totally flip out on anyone that doesn't agree with me on the Internet. I enjoy the whole "furry" thing. Quite a lot! The art is cool, cons are fun ~~I think~~, and finding other furs is always a plus. This is not to say I won't interact with non-furries or anything. Cause geez...that'd be pretty pathetic... :/

Also, it's nice to run into furs that are more like actual human beings than the typical "creepy Internet fur" I seem to come across so often o.o;

I was thinking about something I read Verix writing about, and I think I came up with a fairly good quote for those "deep into it" furries to think about, especially the ones that twist their tails in a knot every time there's a Goonrush orThe Portal of Evil lists Yet Another Furry Webpage.

Both the furry and E/N culture suffer from a small, but quite vocal minority that make the rest of their respective communities look like a bunch of petulant, churlish fucktards.

Hey everyone! I saw that LoKi was part of this community... Looks awesome so far.

I'm 19, living in Ohio with two very close friends. Just trying to find his way.

Originally from the were/therian community, but got more involved with furry when I met some really cool, non-stereotypical people. I guess that's also why I'm here, to meet more-normal furs that are un-hardcore. If that makes any sense.

Anyway, I'm into art in general, especially music. I don't wanna waste space here, but my musical interests are on my LJ information page.

I'm also guilty of playing too many video games... so yeah, I'd be considered a gamer.

i'm EbonyTigress or Sheryn and I'm not sure where I belong as far as the furry fandom or therianism goes. I like to think i'm somewhere melded in the middle, leaning a little more towards therianism. I am not oen to deny humanity though, since Ithough i'd rather not acknowledge all my emotional issues, i'm not going to say I don't have them, or care too much about things. Which is a very human thing :) Nothing else is so conscerned with what anything ro anyone else thinks of it-as mankind.

I joined because, I was actually on my endless search for people to socialize with locally that have at least touched the fandom somehow, because otherwise topics and speaking of people met online is just a bit to *weird* for other folks. <---that meant I stumbled upon the community while searching for locals on lj. x_x.

I'm into the art, and I used to be heavily into the people, but lately i've just been trying to make new connections and shy away from the middle of the fandom, when I used to LOVE to be involved in everything. So I've morphed into wanting to spend more time away from chatting online, in exchange for visiting in person with the people that I can do that with.

I'm not sure what else to add, other than I forgot to say that I'm 20 and I live in Oklahoma, I've been pretty suprised by how many locals are here, though it's hard to get the 'internet furs' to break from their computers and visit in person.

I admit I'm a very goofy person, and I can be full of not so interessting TMI, like .."My butt itches :(" which would come up out of the blue... because it did at the moment and I'd rather talk about it than scratch it in a public place XD. I'm also randomly very hyper, and then prone to falling asleep on the alternate side.

Furries are cute. Furry art is awesome. The most furry in me, though, would probably be a cat-ear headband and a tail, and that's about it.

...Well, maybe a couple of furry gloves, too.
