I completely lost track of what day it was during the week, so this is a very late reminder to get your icons in for our last challenge, OVER HERE! There are only three entries so far, so more would be loverly.

Also, since it is the new year, you could also use the 'goodbye' theme to reflect a goodbye to 2009 through a hello! to 2010 (if you feel 'goodbye' is not happy enough, or you just can't think of how to use it XD). As long as it's clear that it's for 2010 and not just a random party/celebration (though the original picture used doesn't have to be a new year's one, of course), feel free to use that interpretation.

For those who have already submitted icons as of this post being made, if you'd like to submit one more icon for this version of the theme or rearrange your entries to fit more than one celebratory icon in, that would be fine. :)

You have until Saturday, January 2nd (PST) to get your icons in!

Last Challenge: Goodbye

Interpret it as you will! All PSC bands, current and former, are allowed for this challenge. So it could be a goodbye to PSC from bis or Miyavi, a goodbye to being an indies band for SuG, or a goodbye to their bands from Mitsuru or Yuuto, or even a goodbye to this comm if you were that attached to it. XD It could be someone waving, taking a bow at the end of a live, or you can use text reflecting a farewell, or... whatever else inspires you when you think of 'goodbye's.

As you may have noticed, this hiatus has gone on for a long time, and I've finally decided to close the icontest. Since this comm focuses on such a (relatively) small group, I think it can be hard to get a good number of entries each week to vote on, and there are other J-rock icontests (jrock_stillness and jmusic_abc come to mind) out there that allow more freedom in subject choice. Also, I'm just not as up to date on PSC things these days, and a little too protective of my 'creations' to want to hand the community over to someone. ^^; But if someone else wants to carry on this idea elsewhere, I'd be glad to stick a post up directing people to a new community.

However! I do want to run one last challenge, and that post will be up shortly. Please participate; it would be lovely if you did! :D

Week 108 - Halloween

You can have people in cosplay or costume (though if it's a 'regular' outfit for a release/concert, then you should have text or something else to indicate that it's somehow a costume*), use orange and black in your icon, or include pumpkins or witches, or black cats, or bats, or candy, or ghosts, etc. etc. whether it's with text, brushes, already in the original picture, or some other way.

*One example might be Ruki's "Cockroach" outfit, which reminds me of the Mad Hatter; if I made an icon of him, I'd have to put "mad hatter" on it, or something else to show the Mad Hatter-ness. XD

WEEK 107 - text: SCREW's X-RAYS

A SCREW-related challenge both because of their most recent album, and because of the news that Yuuto will be leaving the band at the end of the year. You must use one (or more) of the track titles or the album title (X-RAYS) as the text on your icon. You can use the kana, romaji or translated form of the title, and it does not have to be typeset the way it is on the CD (i.e. you can have 'x-rays' or 'X-Rays' not just 'X-RAYS').
