I'm wondering if it's worth it for me to post the schedules here. Do you miss it? Do you not really care? I kind of stopped, just assuming that I wasn't really helping anyone by posting. But if I am helping anyone, let me know! I've been planning on trying to spiff it up and add articles and such to make it more newslettery like the intended goal. What do you think?

I hope everyone's summers have been quite pleasant. As the start of the fall semester at Penn State is approaching, the PSAO execs have been gearing up. We are currently working out the details of our first meetings, Hot Spot at the HUB, as well as other important events.

In other news, the webmistresses have cranked out a spiffy new layout for the webpage!
The new layout includes our new mascot that won the mascot drawing contest held in spring semester. The decision was tough for everyone to make! The new webpage provides new information and easier navigation.
Soon, the website will have a section with photos from previous PSAO events and sections about PSAO's involvement in anime conventions and cosplay.
PSAO has also created a group on Angel. Right now, there is very little on the site, but this will soon change.
To join the group simply do the following:
1. Go to https://cms.psu.edu/
2. Log on with your Penn State username and password
3. On the left sidebar, click on "My Groups"
4. Click on "Find a Group"
5. Type "psao" into the keyword search field and search
6. Click on the "Enroll" link
Keep checking back, as we are going to be making important updates within the near future!

I forgot to mention that mascot entries are due at this Tuesday's meeting. Here are some important things that Tracy said on the club's mailing list:
"We will be getting a new Mascot soon. This is a great opportunity for all the artists to contribute to the Anime Club. We will be accepting submissions.
The criteria are as follows
1. The image must not be profane in any manner.
2. The image must be clothed.
3. The image can not include any of Penn States Copyrighted images.
4. You must be willing to agree to turn over the rights to this image to the
anime club.
