The community:

Power Rangers Slash Write 22 is a community challenge intended to provide motivation and support for authors of Power Rangers slash fiction.

Authors who accept the challenge will endeavor to write 22 stories, scenes, or drabbles about a Power Rangers "slash" relationship of their choice (which may include, but is not limited to, the Rangers themselves). Each story will feature a concept from this list of 22 as it can be applied to, involved with, or observed by the romantic participants of the story, to complete the PRSW22 challenge.

Authors who have neither the time nor the inclination to write 22 stories may consider a simplified version of this challenge: any seven concepts, chosen from the list of 22 and featured in stories about a Power Rangers "slash" romance, will fulfill the PRSW7 challenge.

Posting guidelines:

Posting begins on 14 February 06. This livejournal community is ONLY* for the posting of PRSW challenge stories OR links to those stories. Questions about the challenge can be posed in comments to the introductory post.

*The only exceptions are administrative posts made by starandrea, nikkisilver, or another designated administrative person, whose posts will be clearly tagged and labeled "ADMIN."

All posts should begin with title, author, and relationship. These three things should also go in the subject line, unless one of the three is particularly long and unwieldy, in which case an abbreviation is fine. The post should also include an approximate rating (any recognizable system) and any warnings that the author feels are appropriate. (No need to "warn" about slash in a slash community; here main characters are assumed gay until proven straight. Warning about STRAIGHT relationships... well, that's up to the author.)

The story itself, no matter how short, should be placed behind an LJ cut (or a "fake LJ cut," aka "a link," if the story is posted elsewhere). The concept (from the list of 22) featured in the story should be identified somewhere in the post, either before or after the story, outside the LJ cut, inside it, or in the cut text itself.

All stories should be tagged with author, relationship, and list of 22 concept. You'll only be able to use tags from the existing tag list, so the first time you post a story, the tag fairy will create the appropriate tags for you after the story is posted. After that, you should be able to tag all of your challenge stories yourself. If you don't tag subsequent stories, the tag fairy will do it for you. (Any mis-tags can be reported in a comment on the introductory post.)
