About:Hi, I'm your friendly community moderator, and I bring you a new LJ community, of what I hope to be a light hearted variety.

You got a problem with some LJ user? Or maybe you like them but you seem to be arguing senselessly over some issue? Or maybe you just gotta let loose and bitch the fucking frustration out of your body? This is the place to take it, do not flood someone's comment section with your comments. Start a whole new post! Be silly, have fun with it. You'll notice that this is an excellent time waster, and you may learn something.

Also note that the purpose behind this community is not to make enemies. All of you are quite capable of doing that on your own. This is the vocal ground where everything that is said can be responded to and retaliated against but should not be taken at all seriously.

Yeah like some sort of fight club. Sure you'll have some bruises, your ego will be a little scathed. But the point is, we argue because we CARE. And it would be a shame to have good relationships go sour over a disagreement.

So here's an example of a scenario. X writes a post. Y replies to it. Z disagrees with Y. Y and Z battle it out in X's comment section. Annoying? Definitely. We've all been there. That's when either of the participants, or the owner of the journal can say "[info]provoke_me!!!" and start a new post in the community and then redirect the discussion there. Simple. Done. It can also be a case where comments in your journal are going off tangent, or you simply want to start a specific new post to address the comments yourself. Go for it.

You can also use this to make posts of "object X vs object Y" variety, since it seems to be a favored medium. Example: giving rides to people vs getting a ride yourself

A few rules:
1. No name calling.
2. Do NOT bring personal private matters into discussions as a way of putting a person on the spot, agitating them or pointing an accusatory finger. Some things should NOT be dragged out into public, no matter how great a weapon they may be.
3. Foul language is totally allowed, but once again, don't use it to insult people blatantly.
4. If it's getting to the point where it's too much, you or the moderator may call for a TIME OUT.
5. You can call in a replacement and/or reinforcement for your specific thread if you are having a hard time. You cannot have more than one supporter at a time.
6. I reserve the right to hide threads that I will deem inappropriate. If someone has a problem with a specific post being hidden, I would be more than willing to explain my reasoning for hiding it.

Are we clear?

Then get ready to rumble.
