Smoove from Newcastle/UK seems to be the shooting star of today's electronic freestyle music scene. He crosses all musical boarders in his own tracks and his DJ set by mixing Funk, Northern Soul, Hip Hop, Breakbeats and Jazz to a homogenic union.

'Coming Back/The Revolution will be televised' reached position 4 (2005) in the official 'Breaks & Beats Charts' in the UK and spent five weeks in the German Dance Charts 'DCC'. A floor filler for all soul, funk and freestyle oriented clubs! Freestyle DJs & producers all over Europe gave their credits for the song.

Aside his actual release and a remix for Dynamo Productions' 'Message for the King' on Unique Records, summer 2005 saw his massive debut album 'Dead Men's Shirts' on the legendary Acid Jazz Records Label. He is also a very busy man the moment:
He is also part of weird party concept "Triple S Heroes", founded his own highly commended Mash Up Label "Wack Records". The first single "Big Love" is already a club hit all over Europe. He has also finished his remix work for Malente, Andy Lewis, Torpedo Boyz and The New Mastersounds And in spring 2007 Acid Jazz Rec. will release a complete new remix album feat. Smoove incl. some fresh new tunes.

Acid Jazz Records founder and DJ legend Eddie Piller calls Smoove simply one of the best DJs he ever heard. And in fact not many DJs are mixing'old' and 'new' styles as fresh and skilled as Smoove. But not enough, Smoove is entertaining the audience also with his great sense of humour and his gimmicks.
