| About: | Welcome to Project MAC Swap! The community is FRIENDS ONLY. You must be a member and logged in to participate. Fall 2007 Exchange Rules All new members must be nominated before they can participate in an exchange. No nominations will be accepted by commenting on an unrelated post in the community. If you are not nominated, you must provide sufficient [recent] feedback tokens on MUA or eBay and/or be in good standing in the communities. (Not just this one, but the other MAC communities) AND have been a LJ member for at least three months. We're sort of making this up as we go along, and while you have the freedom to put whatever you want into your package, there are some guidelines that need to be followed and understood before agreeing to join the exchange for any particular month: You must be a member of the community AND watch the community on your friends list in order to participate. By signing up for the exchange, you are agreeing to fill out 2 additional polls after you submit your address: One poll to say you have mailed your envelope, and another poll that will tell us when you have received your envelope. This is crucial as there is only one person monitoring who has received what and when and I cannot search through entries to make sure you're covered. If you do not send a package, you understand that your username will end up on our Wall of Shame and we're probably going to say rotten things about you. Package guidelines - NO USED ITEMS unless your partner says that its acceptable. - The MAIN FOCUS of the package is MAC. Non MAC items should never be the focus of the package. You're welcome to include non-mac items, but please don't make them the bulk of the package unless your partner has requested specific items on their wishlist. - Try to personalize the package by including a note with a little bit about you, a mix cd or something fun. It doesn't have to be all makeup, but keep it reasonable. - YOU MUST GET DELIVERY CONFIRMATION. There is absolutely no exception to this rule. - Please package all items safely and securely.
