The settings for this pic are that Kaname knows he can trust Aidou enough to fall asleep in his arms without having to worry. Meanwhile, Aidou is feeling romantic and wants to feel Kaname's heart beating, hence putting the hand over it.

If it was for real Kaname would never have taken the risk of sleeping near Aidou, since Aidou would at the very least take compromising pictures of him, and at the worst maybe grope him or something, hahahahaha. XD XD *LOL*

But I'm going for cute and mushy settings instead. XD

Sorry that Kaname looks meh in this. -.-; *did it rushed, is unhappy at his looks that don't live up to her other recent fanarts* I'm happy with Aidou though.

I love how in the song I'm listening to in my playlist, right as I stopped typing and paid attention to the music, it was right when the lyrics went "I don't sleep~"....... Yes. XD *lol*

Yesterday I was half asleep while writing, and I started writing what was supposed to be a quick little AU drabble... which then quickly became a medium lenght one shot of HORRID ANGST. D: D: D:
Seriously, it was supposed to end with Zero rescuing Kaname and them having sex, but now I'm afraid it will end in a deathfic. AUGH WHY ANGSTY MUSE, WHY???

The settings were interesting though, I should reuse in a more elaborate fic. O_o Zero in that fic was so strange, in a terrible yet cool manner. XD;;; *cryptic* XD;;;

Also, it became medival ish/Tolkien-ish for some reason. XD XD

*ponders on trying to work a sex scene into angst feast or just writing for a different fic tonight* XD;;

I got various comments that were spam, apparently generated by bots.

They sort of sounded like they partially made sense, but they were left in reply to other people's comments, and it made no sense whatsoever. Especially since it wasn't about VK at all (some of it was mentioning elections and stuff).

Is it just here or is it happening everywhere on LJ? O_o

I checked the profiles and it was all new users, empty profiles etc.
Really looks like bot generated stuff, and, well, from the content of the comments themselves I'm pretty sure it's what it is.

But it wasn't even advertising anything in particular, so I'm not sure what's the point of such spam. O_o Just being annoying? XD *lol*

Oh well, I deleted the spam comments and banned the bots I could find, so hopefully this is it? (More might come, but I'll take care of it too if they do.)

So, in any case, sorry if any of the bots left a comment in reply to your comment and you found yourself going "????" at it. XD;;

And onto more amusing subjects, VK fangirling just before going to sleep can have hilarious results. XD

As a result of fangirling Rido before going to sleep last night, I had a most strange dream in which I was Rido. XD

In the dream, me (as Rido) and my husband (RL my husband, though the dream wasn't clear whether he was married to Rido in it or what *rotfl*) were looking for Shiki to make sure he was okay, because Rido-me thought I might have accidentally killed him during something or another that happened ealier and which I couldn't remember after waking up. (A battle, I think?)
I do recall Rido-me saying "I don't care about the other guy who was with him, but Senri is a good boy, I want to make sure he's okay."
I hope the other guy wasn't Takuma. D: D: Poor Takuma. XD;;
I don't think it would be him, because Rido or not, it was still my dream, and I really like Takuma, so it's unlikely I'd have said that. XD I vaguely think it was a poor random Night Class student. XD

We then tried to climb onto the roof, when I showed mad publood skillz, until I fell off the roof. (Not quite my fault as the whole thing came down. Still, pureblood coolness = didn't get hurt, although it was kind of awkward. XD)

That's all I can remember from the dream. XD;

If you've been in my FL for a long time, you might know that my dreams are usually so very bizarre. XD
A while ago, I had a hilarious dream about pirates in a floating castle, which came down from the sky and fought ninjas in The Matrix style. XD (I was on the ninja side.)

So I'd say compared to that, the Rido dream is totally normal and sane. *lol*


And, even better than my dreams: The other day, my poor husband, who's by now probably traumatized by my constant VK fangirling XD, had a VK dream due to that...
When he told me the dream he had I couldn't stop laughing. XD XD

In the dream, I was Gollum from "Lord of the Rings", hopping around making fangirly noises and going "My precious!!My precious!!" with the ring... the thing is, the ring looked just like the normal ring in the LOTR books/movies, metal, golden and all, but in truth it was supposed to magically be a part of Kaname's anatomy... O_o
A part often used for yaoi, with Kaname uke... you can imagine. XD;;; *rotfl*

In the dream, my husband was staring in shock as Gollum-me hopped around all over the place in fangirly glee making all sorts of strange noises while molesting the Kaname-ring, and Yuuki and Zero were running everywhere after me trying to retrieve the ring. (I find it interesting that my yaoi fangirling has traumatized my husband enough that in his dream, Zero was going for Kaname. XD)
Apparently I punched Zero in the face after he tried to shoot me to get Kaname back. DDDD:
If I remember well from what he said, I might have also slapped Yuuki for trying to take Kaname-ring from me.

I'm both amused to no end by the completely insane plot of that dream, and vaguely worried about the image my husband has of me. XD XD *rotflmao*
Especially from the way he described gollum-me hopping around fangirlily, making funny noises and molesting Kaname-ring. XD XD *LMAO*

I also feel bad for punching Zero and Yuuki. O_o; (Even if it was in a dream, and not even my dream. XD;;; *lol*)

Dreams are awesome, when they're hilarious like that. XD

I think I already mentioned them before, but I must mention it again: MUCC is an AWESOME band. *-*

I was listening to their stuff again today, and it's just so beautiful, so many of the songs are so powerful.

And some of them give me huge VK vibes, inevitably. XD XD *lol*

There's a song in particular I wanted to pimp, called "Ware, aru beki basho", which I uploaded so you can hear it if you'd like.

It's a VERY powerful song, and it gives me Kaname vibes sometimes, and other times Rido ones.
Mostly Rido, for this song.

So of course, when I found a moment to draw a bit for my Rido doujinshi, I had to play this song. Hence moeing, and hence this post. X3

I'd like to do a Shizuka + little Ichiru & bleeding little Zero one, as well as one with the Night Class, possibly one of Kaname and Zero, and various other such ideas.


✖ All the countless fanarts I still haven't finished.

✖ VK Doujinshi of various pairings.
Currently am doing a Rido x Juri one. Pencilling for the pages is done, still have to finish inking and tone it. (Sneak peek, unfinished page.)

Must do more VK doujinshi later, in particular porny ones of the following pairings:
Zero x Kaname, Kaname x Yuuki, possibly Zero x Kaname x Yuuki, and something with Kaname and Aidou.
Possibly also Takuma x Kaname, tentacles!Zero x Kaname, and perhaps Night Class x Kaname <-- Maybe as bonus short one in color pages at the beginning of a book if I do draw others and end up compiling it together. *tries to motivate self to put out a proper porny VK book rather than just online doujin* XD

Must also do cute & comical non-porny ones, especially with Kaname & Zero, Kaname and Yuuki, and the Night Class.
Also, Kaname & Yuuki & Zero. (And after the Zeroko incident, stuff with Ichiru is a must too, hahaha.)

They'd be like the love sim games and other visual novels, I'm sure you've heard of it. :)
Not sure yet if I'll insert some more game-like stuff where you have to score a certain amount of points in certain activities (such as not doing the wrong thing during a date) or if it will go more the 'pick-your-own-adventure' way, it will depend. :)

I have two projects like that, and will at least try to put out a short-ish game at some point, most likely.
The current two ideas are a yaoi one centered on Kaname, (with a main storyline of Zero x Kaname and a side one of Aidou with Kaname), and a non-yaoi one in which you play as Yuuki, and try to get either Kaname or Zero.
( Ramblings on the doujin games this way. )


Sadly, October is going to be a terribly busy month, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to do much during this month.
I'm going to focus my time in the summaries for the anime, VK news and manga scanlations (Ichiru extra from Volume 8 coming sometime, btw), and whatever time left I can find will probably go into fanart as usual.

Hopefully in november I can maybe go and start CGing for the game, and maybe try some new little animations and stuff. :D
*hopes to still find enough time for regular-ish fanart and fanfiction in October, though it will most likely be less frequent than usually* ;-;

VK moe shall keep me lively through busy times. *-*/ *burns with moe*

Main character is Rido, pairing is Rido x Juri. (Passed before Kaname was born *must draw proper VK doujinshi with Kaname in it sometime* XD).
The story is drama, not porny, shockingly. *lol*
I'm still debating whether I'll post it online only or compiled it in a printed format with something else. It's a ten pages story, so it's not enough for a book by itself.

I haven't had much time lately so it's not finished yet. ^^; *still has to finish inking the other pages, and tone it all*

The only thing is, I'm tearing my hair at having chosen the Kuran family as center for it, because wah, so much difficult-to-ink-hair. XD *LOL*
At least I escaped having to do Night Class uniforms, but huh. XD

I should do a doujinshi centered on the Kiryuus instead, they have much easier to draw hair. *rotfl* >XD

Ah, and on the subject of lack of time, RL has been busy and as a result a bit stressful + sleep deprivation, so uhm, if I sounded annoyingly rambly or even cranky to some of you, that's why, so sorry. ^^;;;
I recall having a long talk with someone about the position of Yuuki's leg on the cover of volume 8, and whether it was her right leg or the left one, and I'm not entirely sure if it was annoying to the other person or not. XD;;; So sorry if it was. ^^;

I shall now start bouncing in front of the clock while counting down the minutes until VK Guilty starts, hahaha. XD
(Well, more like I'll try to be productive until the moment I can drop everything and rush for the episode. XD *lol*)

 

Okay, I have done something horrible to Hino-sensei's beautiful artwork. *lol* XD;;; Fellow Kaname x Yuuki fans, please don't kill me. XD *rotfl*
I love the original cover, but after the stuff with "Zeroko", I just couldn't resist playing with the cover on photoshop. XD XD

It's less simple than it seems, and took a lot of editing and fixing. It's all Hino-sensei's art, but I did have to redraw a lot of the stuff so it would fit well.
I could have done better with more time, but I didn't have much time to play with it anymore, and was getting tired, so, well, this is it. XD;;

I'm currently torn between immense moe for Ichiru and immense moe for Zero, hahaha. *loves them both* XD

Ichiru is just so hilariously evil and wonderful in doing that. *rotfl* I feel bad for Zero, but it's just too hilarious to resist. XD XD
And if people already found that Zero was so uke before, now with the added mind image of Zero with a long-hair wig + a girl's uniform (even if it's really Ichiru), it's even more so, hahaha.

I'm having huge urges to draw Zero fanart now. XD

Oh, and while I'm here, have also the Zero pic from the flap of the cover of volume 8.

I find that stairway so beautiful that I want to draw it in a fanart. X3 (Also due to the need to add Kaname so all three are together, hahaha.)

But the two comic strips were the top priority, because they're so awesome. XD *lol*

 

I keep telling myself that I will scanlate etc. later, but I keep procrastinating, I will die under deadlines later, haha. XD;;;

It takes me less time if I do it by small batches that's called procrastinating, so I'll be posting the extras of volume 8 over the next days, when I have a moment to scanlate them.

That's Rido's bloody crawly things there next to them, that's from the scene where Kaname gave him the blood. XD


In Kaname's original line, it was just "Ichijou... in what manner do you think she'll call me next...?", but the whole way he was thinking of each of the previous ways she called him implied the "cute", so I put "cute manner".

 

I couldn't go out and get my copy of the second VK novel yet, so no scans of the inside pages yet, but a friend got hers and when she told me what was on the poster, I needed a scan of it right away. XD

And because I know I'm by far not the only Kaname x Yuuki fan around, here's it:

Will everybody be grossed out and feel sick if I point out that, well, this is not nowadays but 900 years ago, so... it's not the Ichijou and Shiki you are thinking of, but the ones in the council, as in Takuma's grandfather Ichiou and Senri's grand-uncle, a long time ago when they were all young and pretty? XD XD

I meant for Ichiou to look like the seme, as Shiki's uncle is clearly uke, but uhm, fail? He looks to adorable to be seme? XD

Chapter 43 was really the world upturned. It made me fangirl Rido endlessly, and... even made me fangirl Ichiou. I can't ever see my favorite villains the same way again. XD;;

I don't like the old Shiki though, hahaha. >XD So I don't mind what happened. *lol*
