Hey there guys! I am sort of back again. I was not gone long, but I bring a game! Anyway.
Well, I should say, this new game is simply a flash version of 'higher or lower'. And hexidecimal! ~educational~... but only if you don't already know how easy hex is. You can uh, probably tell it took just today to put together... But it is a solid game, and the cards are all symbolic of the different coloursets a program can have. Which would be appopriate if I ever got around to drawing more programs. Bah.

Hey there guys, I'm back again! So soon... I suppose not working on comics for a week I have to do something else creative, so we have another flash game! Anyway.
This here is "Ghost Hunt", a not even slightly subtle reuse of the Dhark's Defender main engine. Well, I didn't change the GUI. I did make some surpisingly large changes to the engine, but it still feels much the same. Except the pacing, which is very slow. A change, I suppose. Hmm. Also seems a trend that my reskins have scrolling backgrounds.

Hey there guys, back again I suppose. September already? Time just flies... Many half-coded games, but finally a finished one. Anyway.
I was halfway through another game when I realised it would require some good animations. Having one arm in a cast at the moment, I decided to give up and put something together quick. And here we are. A space invaders clone, with a parodius-style twist. Well, I had fun. Hopefully it doesn't have the bug where if you finish the last level (it has hearts) everything breaks. But I'm not good enough at it to find out, haha. Got a new preloader, too. Just because. There are about 4 games I need to finish that use the old preloader, plus the ones already here of course. Anytime for a change though.

Hey there guys, been a while, huh? Well you know, life and all that. Anyway.
Here we have another flash game. To be perfectly frank, it isn't exactly a prog_petsite flash game. But if I added a 'send score' button, I would totally be able to post it on there anyway. Sort of like a sponsor game of some sort. Ok it is actually a DHS Comix flash game. But I am pretty happy with it.

Hey there guys, been all kinds of busy since I decided to update my webcomic some ridiculous amount of times a week, but finally here's a petsite update.
Another flash game! It happens. This one uses the basic engine of Bitfall, but altered around a bit. This one is an 'avoid the objects hurtling at you from above' sort of game. It also goes to show that I'm terrible at scrolling backgrounds. But I digress!

Hey there guys, thought I'd at least make one set of program images, get started on that.
So here we have the whole set of white-colourset long-haired programs, male and female, level 1 and level 2. There's no level 0 since white isn't one of the basic colours, and you can only change the colour of a program after level 1.

This here's the second game I've created for the petsite. Well actually... I was in the middle of programming something else but I got sidetracked, and we have this! It's one of those games where you try to catch things falling from the top of the screen.

Hey there guys. My name's Merlin, and this here's my as-yet unnamed project; a petsite.
Well?
To begin, this petsite doesn't have adorable lil' pets for users to adopt. Instead, a user has a folder that they may fill by adopting "programs". Programs are anthropomorphic; they look rather like:
Users can create programs that begin at level 0, and can be raised all the way up to level 2. Level 0 programs are just eggs though.
As well as their level, programs are unique in several ways. First is their colourset; programs can be created in 6 different colourset, and there are at least 10 additional coloursets they can be changed to with special items after they've hit level 1. One of these is the 'dual' colourset, which has dozens of variants.
Programs can also be characterised by their length; though the ones pictures above are all long, there are also medium and short programs. This alters the hair length and clothing style of programs.

There will be a battledome of course, forums to chat on and such. But the most important aspect of the website will be flash games. Because I loves me some flash games C:

Of course we'll have to have some NPCs to manage the shops, and various other aspects of the website such as program creation.

This is for me, just a hobby. I do not expect it to ever be finished, though one can always hope. After all, for release I'd want nearly 600 pictures just for the programs one can adopt. Might end up toning that down...
Also I totally can't get this to display at the top of the comm page... heheh dang. |
