Profound Sound is the collaborative fancomic written by ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} anodyne_geno and illustrated by rumminov. It is currently in-progress and centers on our original characters made for the game Rock Band. Because it is written mainly for ourselves and friends, the community will be kept friends-only with requested membership! |
MEET THE CAST!
♪ Cohen's Masterpiece ♪

Gideon [Drummer]: Gideon is a complex person, more so than his eccentric appearance belies. He has a big heart and a friendly nature about him, functioning mainly as a caretaker, mediator, and goofball of the band. Fiercely loyal and strongly dedicated, he'll always back up his bandmates and will be the first there to try and iron out a misunderstanding, even if he has to put himself in harm's way to do it. He is considered to be the voice of reason in the band and has a definite care-free, laid back side to his personality that loves joking around. Currently in a relationship with Fatin, and he loves the albino with all his heart. The downside? He's not much of a drinker. Good luck with those hangovers. |

Mephisticuffs [Guitarist]: Mephisticuffs is the quick-tempered guitarist of the group. Although he's always up for a fight, he does have a soft side that's easily tapped into by his friends, and especially by Lucy. Although he sometimes scolds himself for "not performing well", his bandmates wouldn't trade him for any other guitarist in the world. In his free time, Mephisticuffs enjoys playing guitar, eating foods, sleeping, and drinking. |

J-Kwon Smiff [Bassist]: J-Kwon, as the oldest member of Cohen's Masterpiece, fancies himself the "big brother" of the group. While he's naturally protective of his bandmates, he'll let them do as they please whenever they please to do it, even if it means they'll get into trouble: he knows they're smart enough to get themselves out of it (most of the time)...and if they're not, only then will he provide his assistance--meaning his fists, of course. However, J-Kwon is at his core a pacifist, and is at the epitome of gentleness, kindness, funk, and sass alike. J-Kwon's hobbies include reading, playing bass, gardening, caring for his cats, and getting tattoos. His favorite things are glasses, cats, old vinyl records, big boots, women, and green beans. |

Lucy [Vocalist]: Lucy's an outgoing girl who never hesitates to make friends with someone new, and always tries her best to make everyone smile. She can be ditzy and silly sometimes, but that's just in her nature. Obviously, she's hella in love with Mephisticuffs, and would do just about anything for him. All lovy-dovy and stuff <3 She's the lead singer of Cohen's Masterpiece, and loves what she does, along with being around all of her band-mates, and also likes to read, relax, travel, and be with Mephisticuffs (of course)! |

Fatin [Traceurs de Roche]: Fatin once held a world-weary view on romance due to several foul relationships, but falling in love with Gideon was the best thing to ever happen to her. She enjoys physical contact with others, often using the nearest warm body as a pillow, and may act sort of mothering towards the people she cares about. She is always calling or webcamming with her bandmates in Traceurs de Roche (a.k.a. “the kids”). The main object of her affection and attention is Gideon, naturally. Her hobbies include parkour, baking, handicrafts, and napping. Generally, she’s mischievous and teasing, but she never holds back a smile for the people she likes. |

Camarilla [Steadfast Colors]: The kind of guy who would buy you a beer whether he knew you or not. Originally from London, he came to America to live with his Uncle in Alabama when he was 6. He prefers to walk away from a fight if he has to, with the memory of his late brother; killed during the Gulf War, reminding him that violence is not always the answer, even if it IS the easiest solution. He appreciates the few times he can go up on stage and play alongside Cohen's. He's currently in love (and hoping to tie the knot) with Sophi, a bartender from New York and Steadfast Colours' new album artist and agent. |
