For the new year...I have school...it's surprising, it ends in June and I had only 1 snow day this school year! Last year I had a huge snowstorm that made me have snowdays from Thursday of the second week of December to the beginning of January...3 1/2 weeks! 0///0;;



*cough* where was I? I also have planned, to screw up some popular artist's PL character drawings and putting funkay glasses on them.(nevermind about Sammy's, they are cool enough) and then showing you guys! I'll tell you now, I'm not telling you which one's I'm screwing up!

Anyway, do you have any surprises for 2010?

I swear if you say that there's a 20 then a 10 for a year...and it's backwords I will go all puzzle on you.

*peeks head in before sneaking inside and coughing* So, erm...hi. I feel like I should apologize. I have not been a terrible good mod!mama as of late--I didn't mean to ignore you, lovelies! I've just been studying my sizable posterior off for my certification test so that I may keep working at the job I have come to enjoy. Weeeeell, today I passed my test, so my internet hiatus has ended! RESUME FANDOM-ING!

And so to kick it off, it was brought to my attention by the lovely and talented sky_pirate_tat that we haven't done one of these in a while. I looked, and lo, it was April when we last had one. And our membership has grown to over six hundred, sooooo...

So...I'm planning to lose my con virginity this April. I'm going to dress up as big Luke, while my boyfriend is going to be Layton. XD This will be my first cosplay (unless one counts the five consecutive years I was Sailor Moon for Halloween in elementary school).

My reason for posting today is this: Christopher Robin Miller (Layton's voice actor) has a Myspace and a Facebook. Would anybody be willing to message him and ask him if he'd consider being a guest at Sakura Con? I don't know how one goes about doing something like this, or if it's even too late by now. I thought about writing him myself, but I'm too shy. Just posting this message makes me a little nervous, and I've been frequenting this community for like a year!

Surely I'm not the only crazy Layton fan that would squee for an hour straight at the prospect of getting my games signed. Lemme know what you guys think?

Hello, I'm new to the community but not the fandom and I've been hanging around in Layton chat for so long that I thought it was time to actually, y'know, join the comm :/

Well ... I do not know how to do this xD. First, I am a Spanish girl who is following this community for some time. And after think about it enough, I decided to post a little and join ^ ^ '.
My English is not very good, and I am using a translator (the google xD), so if there is an error or do not understand me, I'll understand U__U.
I discovered Layton a month ago or so. Then did not have many expectations about the Curious Village, but after you start playing ... I finished in three days. Never before had caught me so much to a game! xDD [Not even Phoenix Wright xD].
I'm with the Pandora's box and is AMAZING. I like much more than the other, and Layton's voice in Spanish is so HOT * o *.
I'm becoming obsessed with The Last Time Travel, and only wish to leave at once to see the scenes Layton / Claire [I'm a really fan of Layton / Clare, yes xD].
If I talk about me, I like rock, Kingdom hearts, and manga/anime: 3 [And Phoenix Wright xD]
And I'd like to contribute with something to the community, but I have nothing now U__U. Although a fic is coming in way * / / * [Layton / Claire, of course ^ ^]
