Welcome!

Welcome to the ProFantasy Community on LiveJournal! I created this group in the hopes that it will become a place where fans of ProFantasy and all of their various products can come and ask questions of the various members and share images of their various works. So, ask your questions and post your works. Please bear in mind that even though I founded this group I'm far from being an expert with any of ProFantasy's programs. I'd rate myself as a novice user of CC3.

I will also get this group started with a question about CC3. I am currently working my way through the "From small scale map to a large scale map" section of the Campaign Suite's PDF User Guide and I am having some problems. I recently created a continent in the Forgotten Realms and made it mildly detailed (with the edition of contour regions, rivers, and cities). I wanted to create a seperate detailed map of the various sections of this continent and on my first attempt I was successfully able to trim the main continental landmass to edge of the map border. However, when I tried to repeat the process with the hill and mountain contour regions (which are 2D Smooth Polygons) it doesn't work. I can break the entity and trim it to the map border but when I go to use the Numeric Edit command and close the path it simply recreates the original entity before I edited it. I did notice that in the Numeric Edit window the entity is not a 2D Path but is instead a 2D Spline. Can anyone offer up any advice on how to correct this?

Here's an image of the continent section with the first contour line trimmed to the map edge:

Here is the same image after I attempt to "close" the entity:

(The color of the area in question was changed to purple to make it more visible and I cropped off the right side of the picture to save space.)

Thanks!

Take care and have a great day....

ciao,
john.

PS Spread the word about this group!
