About:

This icon challenge community is for all fans of ABC's hit drama shows "Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice".
Originally, the idea for this community is from

icons100,

episodic100 or

tvcharacters100, but here we combine everything. You can not only claim tv shows, single characters or episodes. Here, everything is allowed as long as the icons are from one of these shows and fit the lj-standard(100x100, 40kb largest).
If you are a fan of these shows and in need of some challenge, here is the right place. So, why do you still hesitate? Join and have fun!

You have decided to give it a try, but don't know how to start? Well, this might help ...

*** The first cut is the deepest ***

01. Join the community. You must be a member to participate. (Important: Please join only, if you are planning to claim something. If you just want to watch the community friend it)
02. Submit a claim for your subject of choice at this post and then wait to be approved. (This should take place within 10 days after becoming a member of the community)
03. Once approved, you will be given posting access and you may then begin to post icons of your subject.
04. You make 100 or 50 icons out of your subject following certain terms and themes. You don't have to do it all in one go...you may post them in small batches (at least 10 icons) each time.
05. If you've completed the challenge successfully, comment at the Hall of Fame to get listed. You can also get a banner to show off your insanity. Your subject is then free for the taking again.

But as with all communities, there are some rules and fine details. Please read the following carefully. If you have any questions, you can ask here.

*** Haunt You Every Day ***

[x] The subject focus that's allowed in this community are both tv shows or their actors/actresses roles. You can either claim a show in general, a character, a pairing, group (all interns for example) a special episode or season. Not allowed it to claim an actor/actress as in celebrities.
[x] If you're claiming a general TV series, please make sure you're making icons that covers the show as whole. Don't claim "Grey's Anatomy" only to end up making a whole bunch of just Meredith or George icons.
[x] Each subject may only be claimed by one person at any given time. You are allowed a span of 12 weeks to complete the 100 icons (or 6 weeks for 50 icons) for your subject. To prevent fake claims, you must post at least your first batch within the first 2 weeks after claiming a subject.
[x] All 50/100 icons must contain your subject in them. Your icon can include other characters too - as long as your subject is in the icon as well.
[x] You do not have to post 50/100 icons in one go. You can break them up into smaller batches (at least 10 per post) so that the community won't clog up everyone's friends pages with single icon posts. Please put your icons behind a cut! You are allowed to preview up to 3 icons outside of the cut.
Fake cutes are allowed as look as they are stated clearly and not to friends-only journals.
[x] If you make any icons with spoilers in them PLEASE warn others. [Spoiler: anything that would give away the storyline] not everyone is up to date with shows.
[x] Please make new icons for this challenge. It defeats the point and isn't much fun if you just dig out old icons you have of your subject and post them as part of your 50/100 icons.
[x] Please put some effort into your icons. Don't just crop a picture and slap text on it.
[x] Out of the 50/100 icons you make, part of the challenge is to make at least half of them following a particular set of themes/quotes. All Themes/Quotes can be literal. "Blue" for example can be used as the color or the mood. And you can use the song title or part of the lyric. That's all totally up to you.
[x] Each theme/quote can only be used once. You do not need to use the themes in order, but please tell us which theme/quote you used on which icon.

So basically, 25/50 of your icons are free choice, meaning you can do whatever you like with it as long as it pertains to your subject. And the other 25/50 has to follow a given set of themes to make it a bit more challenging.
