Welcome to Pritenchus_Fuks, the LiveJournal Community for those of us who not only know that we're better than everyone else, but have discovered it's our God given duty to let everyone else know it. Pritenchus_Fuks encourages discussion, debate, and flames among it's members. It embraces differing opinions, clashes of beliefs, putdowns, Socratic reasoning, hypocrisy, gouging large holes in people's arguments, pointing out inconsistency, and anything else that basically asserts that your argument/idea/ass is more solid/more correct/hotter than your fellow members'. A few rules regarding discussions: 1. Things will get heated in this community. People will say things to make themselves look better. People will most likely get jumped on when they make a mistake. By joining this community, you realize that all this pretentiousness is all in good fun, and agree not to take anything personally. 2. There is a fine line that needs to be examined when making attacks on people. It's one thing to say "Your argument is so poorly formulated it makes you sound like you were taught everything you know by Howler Monkeys who suffered massive brain damage at the hands of their zookeepers"; perhaps they really do sound like that, who knows. It's quite another, however, to create an unwarranted discussion about how Little Jimmy is the spawn of Satan and sucks a replica of his mother's teat every time he feels threatened by pumas. In general, attacks should be based out of facts of stupidity, and attacks of a personal nature are very much frowned upon. 3. The exception to the above rule is in the case of Hypocrisy. Hypocrisy is one of Qzlxno's most hated acts, and not only will he severely jump down the throat of anyone who acts hypocritical, but he expects everyone else to jump down his throats when he is hypocritical (because, well, everyone is once in a while.) By joining, you acknoweldge the fact that hypocrisy will be smited. 4. Continuing in the vein above the above exception, be kind about things people have no control over, such as race and sexuality. Religion tends to fall under this category as well, although intellectual theses of religion will be tolerated for the purposes of discussion. 5. Keep anything community related in this community. That includes all flames and insults. If anyone hops over to someone's private journal to talk about how stupid they are, they are in deep shit. None of that will be tolerated. 6. There will, inevitably, be times when an argument will not go your way, and you will either run out of movement room or will realize that your logic is just fucked up and that it's time for you to stop talking and admit defeat. At that time, some sort of statement of concurrence should be put forward in order to avoid long, drawn out, pointless flame wars that stray greatly from the topic at hand. Popular ones are "Uncle," "Damn you to hell," or simply "...pretentious fuck." Qzlxno runs under the assumption that everyone is mature enough to know when these moments are, but will not be wary of reminding people when they're being idiots. In fact, he may even revel in it. 7. Qzlxno is the Grand High Poobah of this group. Don't piss him off, and don't whine to him if you do and he boots your ass out. Joining is not as simple as you may think, and requires, along with simply clicking the link to sign up, following specific rules that are outlined as follows: Create a post introducing yourself in your most natural pretentious manner. At the end, post an introductory theory, hypothesis, thesis, comment, or whatever, something that will stimulate discussion with the group and give the members their first chance to jump down your throat. If you seem to be able to handle yourself well, the group will add you as a friend, and you'll be able to access the Uber Secret Friends only Posts of Wonder. If not, well, I suppose you can still participate as longs as you don't get yourself banned. Moron. Failure to follow the rules will result in you being hassed by the Grand High Poobah himself. Doom! A final note: Qzlxno is not responsible for anything that goes on within here that he is not directly creating (ie, don't get pissed off at him if one of his members set fire to your couch, but feel free to yell at him if he pisses on it as it burns.)
