I'm, like, pretty much done. Maybe two boxes away from completely finished. That is some crazy shit right there. Either tomorrow or tonight I've gotta take down all the nails and screws from the walls... then all that's left is my computer, the TV, and the furniture. And the food in the fridge.
I'm kind of in awe at how I did all this in less than a month. While also going on vacation and having family reunions and taking beach trips and the like. Working full time. etc.

You know, I'm glad I'm getting the fuck out of these apartments. Fire on thanksgiving, the fridge dying, and now the ceiling falling right next to bed. v__v Dawn came up and cleaned up the mess, and I told her not to bother trying to fix it until I'm out next week. I don't need a bunch of guys all up in my messy bedroom making a bigger mess when I'll be out of here a couple days after.

My sister just swears to me that she saw Jack Johnson on the MAX, taking his kids to the zoo. o_O
crazy.
I'm getting really close to being done packing. Its kinda scary. I'm toying with the idea of disassembling my bed tomorrow so that its easier to haul out next week, and just sleeping on the mattresses on the floor.
Also, I'm not 100% sure what to do with the art Kae gave me for christmas. Its really cool, and I like it, but we don't talk anymore and I dunno. I know we didn't actually date, but it sorta feels like a present from an ex, and this is kinda the time to be filtering that stuff out. So... like I said, I dunno.Mood:  complacent |

I just found out that the Afro Samurai manga is coming out in two weeks! How could I have missed this. And we are getting it before Japan is, just like with the anime. Now my Afro Samurai art book will have some company. Bt that also means there's about seven books coming out in September that I want to buy... The same month Black Jack is finally being rereleased! My new shelves are going to be full soon...
There's an interesting book I just came across the other day that I don't think I'll be able to find in any bookstore. It's called Battle Cry: The Art of Samurai Champloo. It came out two weeks ago ad says it's by Geneon Entertainment even though they went out of business last year. It's published by ABDOTC Publishing, the co-founder of which is the president of animebooks.com. Nifty! I guess this would technically be a fan-made or black market book. I'm very curious to see it.
I've just watched the opening for Ergo Proxy for about the 10th time. The imagery and sound go well together. But if you're going to watch it, it needs to be in a dark room, high definition and the volume all the way up. Then it's pretty amazing. |

I need to change my lj layout. *sigh* Time to say goodbye to Perry and JD and find some new pretty people to oggle for a few months. I'm guessing one of those people is going to end up being NPH. >_> Just a hunch.
