All R and NC-17 rated stories are friends-locked and you must be a member in order to view them.

You MUST be over 18 to join the community. 1. Artwork and fiction featuring or depicting characters under the age of 18 in explicit sexual situations is prohibited on LiveJournal and may not be submitted to

pphpficexchange.

2. Plagarism will NOT be tolerated. If any other works are incorporated into the story, they MUST be properly credited. This applies to entry submission, as well as the entries posted on the site.

3. No flaming, bashing, or trolling. If you have a complaint, go directly to the mods.

4. Please have respect for the pairing if you intend to comment -- respect for the pairing is respect for the community, its writers and members.

&hearts Stories must be new, meaning created specifically for the exchange in accordance with the chosen prompt, and complete. Borrowed words and images must be credited and kept to a minimum.

&hearts Betas are required for stories. By signing up, you agree to use a beta, and when you send your submission, you must provide the name(s) of your beta(s). (See “Basics” for beta information)

&hearts All ratings are acceptable (G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17). However, you MUST be 18 or older to request or write a Mature rating.

&hearts Minimum word length: 1000 words

&hearts The author must code his/her own story. See this post for a guide on basic html.

&hearts The mods will be reviewing every submission and may require that the author make changes (not related to story, plot, etc.) before the story will be posted.

An exchange is a project where you agree to create a GIFT, either fanfiction or fanart, for another member of the community, and you will in turn receive a gift of your own. Participants make requests, the mods match them to an author or artist, and the gifts must be submitted by a deadline. Gifts are posted by the mods.

Beta Resources:

a. Perfect Imagination is a very helpful resource when searching for a qualified beta reader. All beta readers listed in the database are required to pass a canon and grammar exam to become a part of the database.

b. The Sycophant Hex Forums is another excellent resource. Scroll down to the "Beta and Brit-Picker Business" section. Joining the forum is required to post, but it is free and fast.

c. The Tauri Forums is another great resource. Go to "The Matrix" for a list of qualified beta readers who are Tauri members. Joining the forum is required to post, but it is free and fast.

d. The Petulant Poetess also has a beta directory with lots of information about the people offering their services. Try checking it out Perfect here or scroll to the bottom of the main page and click on "Beta Directory."

e. Lastly, there will be a beta readers resource post made every round, where people can volunteer to beta read specifically for the exchange.
