About
What We're All About:

For the sake of preserving and archiving the plot-hole fillers created at The PPC Message Board, I present unto the masses this humble community.

PLEASE NOTE! The Plothole game is still intended to take place on the message board! This is just an archive to preserve all the wonderful plotholes as written by our equally wonderful members - because it would really suck if all that great writing were to fade away into the ether, never to return...

Guidelines for Posting:

-Please include the original summary as it was posted on the PPC board with your plothole.
-Please place the summary in the main body of your message, and post your plothole behind an LJ-cut.
-Please use the title of the plothole as the subject in the "Subject" field - for easier archival retrieval.

Simple enough, right? :)

How The Game is Played:

What, when it comes right down to it, is it that we do here? A good question, that. It all boils down to this:

'Fill the Plothole' is a game played down at the PPC message board. A handful of summaries, usually around ten or so, is selected from The Pit. They are handpicked more or less at random, and are then posted on the PPC Posting Board. Anyone who wants to can then write a short story, or 'fill the plothole', based on one of the summaries.

This game is not intended to insult or slight the author of the story for which the summary was written, or even the story itself. The plot-plugs as inspired from the summaries are completely original, and are not based on the fanfic to which the summary belongs. In fact, we rarely read the fanfics belonging to the summaries, because...well, that would defeat the whole purpose of the game. Of course, every once in a while someone might see a particular summary and go 'WTF!?' and then proceed to take a peek at the story, but again, this has nothing to do with the plot-plugs written for the summaries.
