What's the purpose of this community? The purpose of this community is to gather RPers we know & are already familiar with, & have them throw their characters into the fray. There's no set plot within this place & no applications are needed because, face it, we basically already know each other. What if we don't already know each other? Then you were probably rec.ed in by someone who knows you & knows you can play the characters you play. Besides that, let's just say this entire thing is based on the idea of six degrees of separation. We all know each other through each other & it's a small world after all. Plus, it's not like we aren't open to meeting new people. Amirite? Wait, what do you mean there's no plot? There really isn't, save for the fact that during spontaneous moments ( i.e. a post within the comm ) your characters will find themselves in limbo with characters from other series. Plots, however, can be created by the players themselves. As in, a post can be made stating something like, "HOLY SHIT, DINOSAURS ARE INVADING," & etc. It all depends. How are posts made? Posts are made in the comm. Posts can be placed up by the journal ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} tigerzord, or by a character you play. It's an anything goes kind of deal, really. How do we know which characters are taken? You can check which characters are taken by clicking here. How do we claim the character we want? Again, by clicking here & commenting with your journal name, your character journals & their names. Anonymity will be confined to anyone outside of this rp; as in, the list is f-locked & can only be seen by the people that play within this comm. How many characters can we have? As many as you want. There's no limit. The only characters you can't have are the ones that are already taken. Does it matter if our characters are already in another RP? No, it doesn't. It's why we have posts to the comm instead of in our actual character journals. It means we can play our characters here, while also playing them in whatever other RP they're in. Aren't there any rules? Yeah, but we kind of figure that we're all mature enough to know the difference between right & wrong. & to talk things out in a reasonable fashion if a problem arises. But if you need someone to mediate, then feel free to comment here & ask for it. What if we can't be active 24/7 with our characters? Who cares? Be as active as you're able to. The idea behind this is to have a place where we can play around, have fun without worrying about this or that. It's freelance to the max. I have another question to ask. Then ask it here |
