In light of the wonderful success of orig_slavefic, I was wondering whether anyone would be interested in an orig_prisonfic LiveJournal community, devoted to original (non-fandom) fiction with a focus on imprisonment or captivity as a central plot element. (Yes, I adapted that wording from orig_slavefic's profile.) The comm could be for stories about guards and prisoners in modern jailhouses, wild-eyed barbarian warriors abducting captives, torturers in medieval dungeons, etc.

And if people are interested in such a comm, would anyone like to volunteer to be a moderator? My skills as a mod are pretty much confined to setting up tagging systems, and I'm offline for most of the year, so I'd rather that somebody energetic took on the main task of modding - are there any volunteers?

I hasten to say that, in any case, original prisonfic would still be welcome at powerfic. I just thought it would be nice to have a community devoted especially to original prisonfic.
