| About: | I hope this community can provide support for people who are interested in D/s relationships beyond "scening" or "kink" but as a part of their fundamental identity or intentional lifestyle. Slaves, girls, boys, bois, Masters, Dominants, Daddy's, Mommy's, and any others who live (or wish to live) any manifestation of power-exchange in their lives are welcome to join. My hope is that those who join will be able to network with each other, finding support and companionship from others in their regions who try to live similarly. Also, the group is a forum for discussions about the rewards and challengings of living a D/s relationship. Topics could include negotiating contracts, 24-7 vs. limited relationships, polyamory in D/s relationships, commitment issues, mutual repsonsibility, discipline and punishment, spirituality of D/s, independence and personal space in D/s, or anything else that people want to talk about. The group is for 18+ individuals of any gender identification. There are no specific qualifications to be a part of the group, other than those stated above. All are welcome. At the same time, we want to promote safety, security, and comradary for members. For these reasons, we ask that to join, please email the moderator (jiffyschnapps@livejournal.com) or comment to the open post with the following information: 1) your age 2) location 3) D/s identification (Dominant, Mistress, Daddy, submissive, slave, etc.) 4) any one or two other things you wish to share (how long you have been trying to live this lifestyle, what you hope to get out of the group, etc.) In the interest of promoting a sense of community, the moderator will post introductory emails to the journal with the tag: "Members" so people can find each other easily. If it makes you uncomfortable to have your info posted, please just email that to the moderator as well and let me know if you would prefer your info posted anonymously or not at all... Since the group is meant for support, discussion, and networking, posting or commenting from time to time is strongly encouraged. :-) Please make all posts protected and put longer entries under an lj-cut.
