here are a few things you should probably keep in mind when joining:
1. ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) gingersomething is your overlord. obey her.
2. cherrydilemma and scottsvengeance have been empowered by the overlord to kick your asses if need be.
3. we require lj-cuts on large image posts. if your post is going to crash my browser, cut it. if you don't, we will tell you to. if you don't fix it, we'll delete it. if you didn't get a chance to cut it (like you were away from the computer or something), don't complain, just repost it with a cut. chances are we want to see it; we just don't want our computers to freeze!
4. you should probably be a member of indiefucks. if not, there are going to be jokes that you don't understand, and that's no fun. lurkers are welcome here. we're cool with you as long as you're not an ass. also, we have a tendency to be kind of offensive at times. we will make fun of anything and everything, so be prepared.
5. if you read fanfiction and post about it, prepared to be called a nerd. in fact, if you post in this community at all, prepared to be called a nerd. we here revel in our nerdiness. but seriously siriusly, don't harass anyone just because they are nerdier than you are. fanfiction, fanart, rpgs, etc are all welcome here, ESPECIALLY if they're funny. if they're not funny, most people will just ignore you. they might think you're a loser, but if they make fun of you, i will smack them, so don't worry. this is a safe haven for nerds.
6. sirius black and remus lupin are furries and have hot gay furry sex all day.
7. nothing is "old news" unless it's been posted in this community too many times. sure, most of us have seen the "snape kills dumbledore" macros, but if they haven't specifically been posted here, feel free.
8. these rules are stupid and i'm having trouble concentrating.
9. seriously siriusly guys, as far as content of your post, anything goes.
10. if your icon has anything to do with an eye being sliced open, i will delete all of your posts and comments until you change it. and i will hate you forever.
11. i wonder why these rules are now in the first person. THIS COMMUNITY IS SPOILED FOR ALL OF THE BOOKS AND MOVIES SO FAR! however, once we get around to book seven, if ANYONE posts a spoiler, i will personally hunt them down and beat them to a bloody pulp. WE DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS UNTIL WE READ IT, MOTHERFUCKERS. "snape kills dumbledore" was only funny AFTER THE FACT!
