Hey Potterdelphia!

Just wanted to invite you all over to your neighbor state for our Crystal Ball! I hope we can convince a few of you to come into town for it! It'll be a lot of fun and we're going to have some great food, music, dancing, and I'm sure moshing to "Party Like You're Evil"! We're featuring DJ Evil D, Draco and the Malfoys and The Whomping Willows (who we are trying to convince to write a song for Ohio... since we're all so jealous you guys got a song!!!) This is your chance to get all dressed up and enjoy a fantasy ball and make a few new friends in the hp fandom!

So Alex hits my town tomorrow, and nevermind that I'd seen him all last weekend at Prophecy! On Friday, August 10th at noon, the Central Library at 19th and Vine will be totally rocked by the power of rock.

The Remus Lupins is joined by the Whomping Willows and the Moaning Myrtles, and of course [info]potterdelphialj will be there. Check out our event page to see who'll be there!

So many other LJ communities have been dealing with spoilers and spam users, and I've decided that from now until after the book release (perhaps an additional week or two) this Potterdelphia community will be moderated. Users must be accepted as members, and only members can post. All posts will also be moderated.

I hate to be a bad sport here, but unfortunately I accidentally saw a spoiler and I don't want that to happen to anyone else! I don't want to know anything about what's going to happen in Book 7 until I have it in my hands; I know there are others who feel the same.

Subject: Two weeks left for Winter Feast Tickets!

The Winter Feast and the Yule Ball (Philly) are fast approaching now!

Both events happen on Saturday December 2nd in Philadelphia:

Winter Feast
Spaghetti Warehouse
10th and Spring Garden
2PM | $15 | All-ages

with A Lightning Bolt Scar!

Yule Ball
Starlight Ballroom
9th and Spring Garden
5PM | $10 | All-ages

with Harry and the Potters, Draco and the Malfoys, Uncle Monsterface, the Hungarian Horntails, and the Whomping Willows

Tickets for the Winter Feast are $15, and the price includes not only the band but a tasty dinner as well! Because we need to give a fairly accurate estimated head count to the venue for the Winter Feast, we need to know a few days before the event how many guests are coming! Sales for the Winter Feast end on Monday November 27th and tickets can be purchased online through Potterdelphia. If you cannot buy tickets online, please email Andrea at andrea@potterdelphia.com for alternate methods.
