| About: | This is the place to register for the (hopefully) fabulous Christmas Card Exchange I'm organizing this Christmas. This is a real mail card exchange, where one Potter character (you) writes a Christmas Card to another Potter character (your partner). It works like the Valentine Card Exchange - ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} pottervalentine - which was soooo much fun last spring.I hope there will be as many people joining this time as well! It works like this: I'm going to post a poll which will be active from the 10th of October to the 10th of November. There you will be asked for: - your e-mail address - your name and mailing address - and your (specific) Card preferences: for the card you want to get as well as for the card you'd like to send (more details on this when I post the poll). On November 10th the poll will be closed, I will match you with a fitting partner, and you will get an e-mail telling you the address and wishes of your partner (not linked to her/his lj-username, of course). I guarantee that the only 2 persons getting to see your address will be me and your partner. This system worked perfectly for the Valentine's Day Exchange, so don't worry :)! You should then send out your card at the beginning of December, ensuring it to arrive in time - hopefully there will be people from all over the world participating, and I'm trying to match people to get "foreign partners", because I think that's much more fascinating (if you want to get/send mail from your own country only, there will be an option in the poll).
