You’ve been marooned. How are you feeling towards those who were responsible for it?
Danged ticked. I mean, they marooned me. Unless I did something horrible, then I'm just feel guilty. In any case, I'd probably be muttering things and worrying about how to survive. Yeah, like I would survive anyway.

Luckily, you happen to have five items with you. What are they? Why?
I suppose a boat isn't allowed? If so, that's one. The others:
A blanket. I'll need to keep warm if the nights get cold, you know?
The kind of distillary to make seawater fresher. Because I'll need water and that's much more practical.
A few month's worth of canned/dried goods[pop-top cans, if possible]. I'll also need food, and that won't spoil.
A knife. For many purposes.

Hopefully you can use them to survive. How will you accomplish getting off/surviving?
I shall think out a good course, remembering where I was last on land before they marooned me, and try to calculate how far that is. I may not remeber, but meh. I shall put my gear in the boat, and set out in the direction that land ought to be. If I stay here I'll just die anyway, neh?

Lazy/hard working? Actually a bit in the middle on this one, so I can't give a straight answer. Depends on what I'd be working for... if I'm working towards a goal I'm hard working, but if it's a "hard work is its own reward" thing, well bugger that, I'm going to be lazy.

Pretty damn pissed off, and I'm probably thinking that they should wish I -stay- there. Unless I'm a contestant on Survivor, in which case I probably asked for it. But since it's not likely to be Survivor, I'd be spending a bit of time thinking about what I'd like to do to them when I make it back...

Luckily, you happen to have five items with you. What are they? Why?

First of all, a machete or some other big knife/sword. Probably one of the most useful things to have, since you can use it to cut down vines and trees to build a makeshift shelter, you can use it to clear a path, you can use it for self-defense should there be any unfriendly natives around, etc. Plus if it's shiny enough, you can use it to reflect the sun and maybe try and signal someone.

Second, a flint. This used with the aforementioned knife or machete will help make fire, and fire's important for a lot of things... keeping warm, boiling water to kill the nasties, and if big enough can also be used as a signal.

Third, some fish hooks. Useful for catching something to eat so I don't starve to death.

Fourth, some sort of string or twine. Can be used with the fish hooks, or can be used to lash trees or branches together for shelter (or building a raft).

Fifth, a big bottle of rum or some other alcoholic beverage. No, this isn't just to drink. Alcohol would be useful in feeding the fire. (And yes, some of it would be to drink.)

Hopefully you can use them to survive. How will you accomplish getting off/surviving?

Well, first of all I'd build a fire. I'd gather up whatever on the island would burn well (wood, coconut husk, whatever) and use the machete and flint to make fire. As I said before, fire's pretty much essential. I'd explore and see what resources I had and where might be the best place to try and signal for help... I'd probably use multiple ways of signalling: the fire, building "S.O.S." in the sand (hell knowing me I'd make a big old flaming SOS), use the machete to try and signal with light, whatever I could think of. I'd build some sort of a lean-to type shelter for overnight. I'd look for any fruit I knew to be edible and non-poisonous, and I'd try and catch some fish or crabs or whatever other sort of seafood I could. And I'd do this either until someone saw the SOS or I decided to bloody well give up on the SOS and try and build myself a raft.

As the recent pics I have are either blurry or make me look like some weird drag queen, you get a description. I'm about average height, on the thin side, hair's currently white-blonde, layered, and just past my shoulders. I've got really pale skin, kind of deep-set murky grey-brown-green eyes, a big hooked nose, thin lips, a somewhat prominent and pointed jaw line, and highish cheekbones. I have narrow hands with long fingers, kind of a rectangular build with a short waist and long legs, and I probably think I'm more unfortunate-looking than I am. I wear trousers more often than skirts and I love striped clothing. My colour is anything but beige.

A blanket, for obvious reasons, drinkage, because ocean water is disgusting, a knife to chop down leaves or to crack open hard to open things, or hell even for defense. A book, because Lord knows I'd get bored, and bread because...I'm hungry. The things for fire? Just cut down some sticks and get a rock, you have a spark. Get some more sticks, and voila. Fire. A lot of the stuff I'd need for essential use are left out because there are tons of natural ways to survive.

I've got fish, I've got bread, I've got water, I've got coconuts(I'm hopeful here. :D;), I've got all kinds of things for survival, and I won't get too cold as long as I have my blanket. I get bored and lose interest in things reeeally easily and I have a short attention-span x_x; This often leads to acts of mischieviousness xD My self-esteem isn't at it's highest, either. I always think that I'm disliked for one reason or another, even if I don't do anything. How I act really depends on where I am. I guess I kinda have a split personality (I'm a Gemini, how appropriate xD) and rather random >> I'm really sensitive to a point, so when I see some kind of tragedy on tv or within my family or friends I'll likely become pretty sad. It's the same if someone hurts or insults me, except I'll pretend it doesnt bother me, but I'll really take it to heart and dwell on it. I'm terribly unorganized so my room looks like a ship-wreck xD Also, I'm sneaky. At home or at school, If I break a rule, I'll likely get away with it (it's becoming a bad habit xD;) I'm not bad, I just do things my own way, I guess. When I do get really mad, I usually won't shout, just give hints in a subtle or quiet way (like glaring or slamming things.) I'm rather afraid of getting involved with anyone romantically. Age: Well, I'm not quite fourteen, and I'm not twelve... so, I beleive I'm thirteen.

Gender: Last time I checked, I was a female (and I don't mind being stamped as a male).

Strong points: I'm not so optimistic, but I listen to people's problems and give advice (unless I hate you; then you're getting neither of those, and that's that). According to certain tests, I'm smart. I have a sense of humor, and don't think if a guy is your friend; he should be anything else.

Things are going to change around here, me mates.

For one thing: I plan to be a good mod and get back in the game.
Plus we have a co-mod/maintainer, please say hi to k_whyohwhy!

Right-o. So, is there anything that you as a member of this community would like to see that would make this more enjoyable for you? I'm thinking as well that I may put up a layout for this place. But, you know things like stamps and applications, that sort of thing.

Also, I'm going to compile a list of those who haven't been stamped yet. So we can get everything all caught up and shiny. I understand that will be a long list.... *sheepish grin* Expect that sometime next week.

I'm really, really sorry for being all gone and stuff. I could write a super overdone list of excuses but that would just bore you.

You’ve been marooned. How are you feeling towards those who were responsible for it? Basically, I feel hatred and then I want to hurt someone. But then I wonder, if they didn't tell me why, what their reason was for doing that to me. I'll hold a grudge for a long time but I'll try to get over it.

Luckily, you happen to have five items with you. What are they? Why? A stuffed animal, blanket, extra undergarments, a book, and a flashlight. The stuffed animal can comfort me when I feel depressed, take my punches when I'm angry, and be a pillow when I'm tired. The blanked because I can keep warm or shelter myself from rain, the extra undies because its gross to stay in the same ones for a long time, a book so I can keep myself occupied when I've nothing to do, and a flashnight to see in the dark and to signal boats

If the flashlight doesnt help signaling boats, then I'll take my book, flashlight, and extra undergarments and tie them in the blanket and put them somewhere where wildlife can't get them and use the stuffed animal like a flotation divice and keep myself afloat so I can swim to a nearby boat or something.
