| About: | This community is for the sharing/swapping of vegetarian recipes. You may also request a recipe and members will try to help out with a suitable one! Meat-eaters are welcome to join, provided that any recipes/requests they submit are vegetarian (e.g. no meat, no fish, no gelatine, etc). Please read these Vegetarian Society definitions if you're unsure whether or not your recipe/request is suitable. Although I personally am vegetarian and not vegan, I would love to see more vegan recipes included here (although some of the recipes can easily be adjusted and made vegan). If you are vegan, check out the rubbishvegans community. // Membership is moderated, i.e. I must approve your request to join. This, however, is purely so that I can keep trolls out! All posts are public, so you are free to 'watch' the community without joining. However, the more people who join and contribute, the more comprehensive a selection of recipes we'll have to offer. A few simple ground rules :- *I have a zero tolerance policy regarding flaming, bitching, and trolling. Play nice, please. *All I ask is that recipes be vegetarian. I use 'imitation meats' from time to time. Some vegetarians are very 'anti' these, but this is not the place to complain about it. As long as it's vegetarian, I don't care that it looks or smells like meat. *Because I'm the main poster, the recipes will tend to reflect my personal tastes. I love cheese and I hate garlic and mushrooms! I would encourage people to experiment to their hearts' content with the recipes I post :-) *The community is for RECIPES/RECIPE REQUESTS ONLY. You might be, as I am, concerned about animal rights and welfare, but this is NOT the place to post on those issues. There are plenty of other communities you can join if you're interested.
