Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
more deletions
seems everything has gone again.

would anyone else be prepared to use this space for the time being?
we could make friend only posts and add our profile and address here, then it can't be deleted. tag each entry with "profile" or "member" to make searching easy.

good idea? bad idea?

I suppose this could work since you can make it a friends only group and put a lock on it. I don't know about facebook either but I would guess that they would have some type of protection. this is getting really old, no one knows who is doing it still? It would be nice if we could figure out who was doing this and find some way to block them from using the site.

i agree. but unfortunately i think whoever it is would find a way in no matter what. i thing some way of loging in would work better, at least stop everyone being able to edit your profile. i remember years ago it used to be like that.

whomever runs the site should put a lock on it and I think making this a friends only community would work because in the bylines or rules of the community it could be listed that anyone who deletes entries on here will be banned and locked out of the group. that way if the person who is doing this tries it here they will be found out.

I'd be more than happy to post my address in here so long as it is a friend's only post. The tags are great idea as well... as long as we have the ability to tag our posts. Some communities I belong to don't allow people to tag their own posts.

i thought this community used to be used in that way. but i suppose it is up to the owner what they would like to do. i don't know alot about the facebook groups so i'm a little apprehensive.

I think LJ is more personal and private than Facebook, so I'd feel more comfortable posting my address in a friends only community here. If you make one, post it!

Agh, just realized how silly the last sentence is, hahah. This IS a community. Oh, me and my brain.

I agree that I'd prefer it to be via livejournal.
It's upsetting that not everyone who was on the site has a livejournal or would know about this community. Whoever is doing this really needs to get a life.

If you make them friends-only posts, it could work here on LJ. Good idea!
