I'll be sending a postcard to jon_bot when I hopefully get to a post office tomorrow...

When you get it let me know (comment) & I'll post the picture up for all to see so that when you send it on, the next person can see the continuity, or maybe you wanna scan the received card & post the picture? I like the idea of the mark the postal system will make on it (this process should be discussed - the sender needs to make a scan in case of postal incidents,(total loss) but the vagaries of postal happenstance also adds to the project).

This community came about because of an entry on daltonsharp's journal...

As far as I see - this will work thus:

You create a picture on a postcard - a panel of a jam comic.
Scan it, but don't post it on the community - you send it to the next person in the jam.

The postcard recipient posts a comment to state that they have received the postcard, create another panel/postcard & advises that they have passed it onto the next person.

At this point the first panel is posted on the community; in this way we get a little taste of what's going on & each recipient can look back to see the continuity that they are following.

Suggestions/criticism on this, please?
