Which Horror Movie Could You Survive
    Your Result: Sidekick

Your smart enough to know your limitations. What you may lack in the lethal arts you more than make up for with quick reflexes and sheer chutzpah. The immortal ones such as Jason and Freddie would eventually wear you down, but you'd likely survive anything else.

What American accent do you have?
What American accent do you have?
    Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

    I wonder if she knows?
I noticed on Survivor that one of the contestants (I think her name is Babe?) was wearing a necklace that was a 45 rpm spindle adapter. Here is a pic of one similar to what she was wearing. Sterling Silver

I wonder if she bought it because she liked the design or if she even knows what it is? Either way I think it's kind of cool.

Can I just say.. watching the new episodes of Californication via free interwebnet and creeping out to the edge of the driveway to smoke a cigarette, totally helped the homesickness I was feeling earlier.

I love you God, and goodnight. Please awake me with the morning rise and instill that sense of ambition and drive that you stir up so magically. It is you that is truly amazing.

I figured I'd post and let everyone know I'm still here. I've done lots of schoolwork and we've done lots of cleaning this weekend. So it's been pretty busy. Thankfully it's kept our minds off the abysmal performance of the various Wisconsin sports teams. At least, it's pretty much kept mine off it...though, I'm having a pretty hard time believing that Ball State is ranked above Wisconsin in the AP Poll. I talk about this to keep from talking about the other big news of the weekend...of course, I mean OJ....*HA!*....No, I'm talking about our supposed leaders in Washington. I don't even know what to say about them. There's nothing good that I can say...thankfully, two of our Congressmen voted against the "Bailout". They will get my vote next month, if running, and I know one of them is. I had been undecided on him until this.

    Not again! ?
Well my back and knees are already hurting and I just took some tylenol but I don't know how much good it's going to do. I really hurt. I hope I'm not looking at another sleepless night.

Well I went with my friend and another lady from the church today. We went up to Westerville just north of Columbus. The so-called Festival of Sharing wasn't quite what we thought it would be. Well at least two of us were expecting something different. It really wasn't a festival at all. Well anyway I was treated to lunch which was "so-so" but I'm not really complaining as it didn't cost me anything. Still considering what it cost the lady who bought it for me- I feel kind of bad. She liked her lunch so and I didn't hate mine so anyway.. I didn't say anything. Well actually I did. I said Thanks. That was very nice of her.
Found out my friend and I don't share the same political views (or at least as far as our choice of presidential candidates). I didn't say anything when I saw the Obama bumper sticker on her car. I already suspected she was for the "other side". She's still very nice and has been very nice to me. I don't know whether she knows my "political" leanings or not. I'm not even going to bring it up unless she asks but she hasn't so far. I know that my other friend and neighbor who I go to CR with shares the same political leanings as I do. But I don't necessarily completely share some of her beliefs about some things.
Well anyway. More about all this later. I am going to "try" to go to sleep. I need to dry my hair first.

    Rough night
Well I don't know how much worth I'm going to be today. I didn't get much sleep last night. I woke up somewhere along the line and the radio was still on. Coast-to-Coast AM was on and well I became interested in what was on. I also had to go to the bathroom and then take some tylenol. My back was hurting. Not too mention sinuses and some other aches and pains.
The tylenol didn't seem to help any after I took it though (even after it should have "kicked" in) Needless to say- I just couldn't seem to get back to sleep. I got up for a bit and turned on the light and did a little bit of a Sudoku puzzle but then put it down and tried to go to sleep. Yeah-right. I should have turned off the radio. But I kept listening to the radio and getting up to go to the bathroom for what seemed like eight hundred times (I know- I exaggerate). So about 5 a.m. after Coast-to-Coast AM was over I did turn off the radio and would-ya-believe I did go to sleep. I got up about 1/2 an hour ago. In a little while I'll get dressed and head over to the church to meet up with my friend to go to the Festival of Sharing. I'm not really sure what it is or where it is. There will be some others going with her as well.
CR was pretty good last night. I think several people got some things off there chests (so to speak). So I won't go into detail but there was substantial unburdening. Also I now have a sponsor. Praise the Lord!
I got the release form from the hospital yesterday. I need to fill it out and send it back so I can get my medical records or actually so they can send my medical records to my doctor. Then she can better determine how to further proceed with my care.
I just pray I will somehow have the finances for all of this.

    tractor driving and kids
So this week I have had the opportunity to do some tractor driving. I am finally improving on my turns, but still had a few screw ups. (um sorry about that broken asphalt) I at least have a digger now, so it is easier to dig out the weeds. ;) Thursday I drove all day, plus was given the new responsibility of folding up the equipment and moving it to different fields. Still scares the crap out of me. Randy even had me drive down the highway (2 lanes with shoulders) and of course a semi with a load of straw on it had to pass me, as did 6 other cars. Yikes! I am also starting to figure out the way to help finish up the fields and don't need as much direction. (fields are not flat, square, or even solid all the way across. There are draws, ditches, and scab rocks to farm around, plus damn steep hills we actually do farm). I really love the outdoor feeling of the tractor. I seen six deer today and yesterday I seen a coyote and a ground squirrel. I should start bringing a camera.

We got grades this week. I guess Jeff forgot to turn in a couple of assignments and he is getting an F in history. :P He is also getting two C's and the rest is good. That is still better than last year, but I hope he can get it all in gear. Sarah on the other hand is doing awesome. her lowest grades were two A-. Then we went to a scholarship meeting at the school. It really inspired me to make sure that sarah gets into a good college and is able to do what she really wants. Tonight sh is baby sitting the neighbors grandkids. She called to say they would be later than they thought and she wished she had her glasses so she could remove her contacts. I made her an espresso and brought her glasses and contact lens case. I visited for a short bit and she cried when I left. :( She really just missed us all (Ryan came home tonight). Ryan likes his classes and the dorm is good. He loves the high speed internet, but still misses us. LOL
