the city of austin is trying to break the record for the world's largest Thriller dance. Apparently this will happen on the Day of the Dead Parade down 6th street on November 1st. The Austin Ballet and the Alamo Drafthouse are currently teaching people the dance.
I LIVE IN THE BEST CITY IN THE FUCKING WORLD. SORRY BOSTON. YOU FAIL.

Future In-laws came today.
Visit went well, they were impressed with how I put together the house,
and even more impressed with my cat/dog training skills.
They brought us a Obama mug, and enough toilet paper to last us until January.
Saw the doctor today. Question and answer time. Got their early.
meeting was at 3:30-did Not see the doctor until at 5:45
Talked Politics to kill time, I had to leave the room twice.
Doctor came in, said Michael looks good, 4-6 weeks until he has his stem cell transplant. he will spend 3-4 weeks in the hospital, if all goes well.
the at least 100 days in the house to get better. He is not suppose to be left alone-ever. Kinda weird. I don't mind buying a candy stripper outfit, but friends will have to fill in. Hopefuly, If I get this job I interviewd for, I can work 3 days a week=30 hours. That will give me time to take care of my man.
The other man in my life, whom I have been sleeping with almost every night for 6 years, will have to leave our bed. Allowishus will be very upset. as will the bimbo kitten, and jumpy puppy. The asshole doctors say we can't cuddle for too long, can't have the happy puppy jump on michael and most def can not get scratched by an animal, or he could get an infection. The nerve they have to say that my babies are dirty. I am way more dirty than my cat, but they never said I couldn't scratch michael. My eyes swelled when they talked about the pet issue.
but not when they talked about the Michael having to go through this very serious thing issue. Not that I don't care, its just that I am strong when need to be, but animals always stike a cord.
I will have to take out the trash, pick up the poop and and take on some serious taking care of duties. I'm up for it.
as long as he is happy/healthy, and I eventually get a tiffany ring, some shoes, a villa in France, I'm up for it.
Weird.
4-6 weeks, then boom.
I'm glad we can at least celebrate Halloween, my fave.
we will have a last fling in lafayette, and I will be dressed as peter pan. Michael will be Captain hook of course!

All of this because a bunch of mortgage lenders a few years ago got greedy and gave loans to folks who could never in a million years pay the shit back. Jesus.
message to everyone: don't take loans you can't afford to pay back. Don't give out loans to people who can't prove they can pay them back. I understand small businesses and such depend on loans to get started, but this is fucking ridiculous. People are being thrown out of homes they thought they could afford. I hope these wall street fucks are happy.
