1) Humans who don't listen to Hardcore or like it (why are you even on this page?)

4) Humans who think they're "tough guys", and are here to diss people and prove how much MORE Hardcore you are than the next jackass

6) Humans who are disrespectful of other humans without a valid reason

RULES:

1) Talk about HARDCORE music. If you like Punk, Emo, Jazz, Heavy Metal, Classical, Hip Hop or Bolivian Tribal Folk music, that's your business. Good for you. But this is a Hardcore community so talk Hardcore music here. If you want to bring up bands that are Hardcore with other influences, that's fine. But if you make a post about The Used or Evanescence, don't blame other members for jumping down your throat.

2) DO NOT PROMOTE OTHER COMMUNITIES HERE unless they have something to do with Hardcore music. No promoting rating communities that hardly ever talk about the music, please (i.e. ones with names like hardcoreXhotties or im_so_emo).

3) Keep it civil. Don't pick fights over small issues and don't give other members shit for something stupid like loving a hardcore band that you hate. Yes, you can disagree but there's no need to bitch out someone for having different tastes. Show some fucking respect.

4) RESPECT other members.

5) Don't post porn. Don't sell merch or promote ebay auctions unless you are an active member. There are other communities for those things and we don't want randoms in here spamming our community. If you are an active member and want to sell your records, merch and other wares, please make sure it is hardcore-related (e.g. Selling your Shark Attack vinyl is okay. Selling a potted plant is not). Posts containing links to your Hawthorne Heights and Atreyu shirts WILL be deleted.

7) Any racist, sexist or homophobic remarks will get you an instant ban.

8) This is NOT a rating community. If anyone posts photographs, please do not start making unnecessary comments about their appearance. Having said that, this is NOT a rating community, so if you choose to post photographs, please ensure that they have relevance to the community. DO NOT post pictures you took of yourself posing in the mirror and proceed to beg for comments regarding them. Go to MySpace for that.

9) DO post articles relating to hardcore (or issues you think members might be interested in), MP3s, CD reviews, recommendations and information about shows, gigs, videos and zines. But when posting a flyer, please make sure it's of a reasonable size. If it's the size of Utah, I will tell you to shrink it.

10) No posting quizzes and memes on this community. No one is interested in knowing which 1980s Hair Metal band you should have belonged to, or what ice-cream flavour you are.

11) Straightedge members - you don't drink, smoke, do drugs or fuck, so good for you. Now, leave the non-edgers alone. Non-edgers, do whatever you like with your lives, we don't care. Now, leave the straightedge kids alone. In other words, see #5. Respect.


If you break any of these rules, your post will be deleted and you will be warned. Serious breach of rules may result in ban.

We understand that there are many out there with misguided notions as to what "Hardcore music" actually is... Just be sure not to post any material in the community unless you are SURE it is relevant (if you are unsure, contact a Moderator first). Having said that, we welcome sincere newbies with open minds and open hearts who want to learn about positive hardcore if you're still interested! =)
