Poor in the state of NY
Name:Poor in NY
Location:Anywhere, New York, United States
About:This community is for those who live in the state of New York, those who are considering moving here, and those who are interested in New York.

The focus of this community is on the working or non-working poor. Here, we can offer useful information to each other about how to get by, as well as tips about advancing one's career and enjoying life more - with little to no money. Anyone is welcome to contribute to this group.

Social workers, activists, entrepreneurs, small business owners, discount shoppers, students, penny savers, and others are more than welcome to join the group if they believe they can add to the community objectives. :-) We can use all the help we can get! Keep in mind, though, that the original focus is on those who do not have much (or any) money.

No ads or information about how you can get items "free" if you tell enough people. If you are passing along information about a great deal or special offer in NY, that's great; but no "sign up here to get a free whatever" posts. They will be deleted.

Please feel free to post advice and questions! If something doesn't work well within the community, the moderator or other community members will let you know.
