Here are the 2007 rules

You can choose 20 celebs who you think will buy it before the end of the year.
They must be real live celebs, no fictional characters.
They must be above 18 and 5 celebs on your list must be below 70
They must not be on death row, so no Saddam this year sorry.
They cannnot be famous just for being ill. This rules out the men in "the elephant men trials"
They must be human, no animals.
No missing persons or hostages so no Osama bin Laden.
No one famous simply for being the victim of a crime.
Must give me the real name and any aliases they may have, don't just put last remaining titanic survivor etc
You can have the same as other people

In addition to your 20 individual celebs I'm allowing a bonus of "any one" for example any one Spice Girl, any one Blue Peter presenter etc. Do not make too big a group though. Any one Russian for example will not be allowed. You will only get points for your first "any one" pick

Scoring

50 points for each hit
20 extra points for solo hit
Age bonus age of celeb 18- 40 20 points
" " " 41 - 60 15 points
" " " 61 - 80 10 points
" " " 80+ 5 points


Bonus points
10 ponits if close relative of celeb, eg child, sibling,parent or partner dies. This is awarded if said relative predeaceses or outlves celeb
5 points for other blood relative or ex- partner.
Bonus points for each overnight hospital stay that celeb survives. Stay less than one month = 3 points, one month to three months = 4 points, three months and longer= 5 points
100 bonus points for celeb dying on their birthday.
50 bonus points if celeb is erroneously reported dead and obit appears in paper. This will be awarded to the first person who posts the link.
50 points for any celeb who dies "on the job". That means if an actor dies on set or on the stage, a footballer dies on the pitch, a politician is assinated, a TT rider dies on the course etc...
