Hello all, it's hiatus time for me.

I'll be in Dallas starting Tuesday and won't be back until Saturday. That means zero internet and zero time even if I had internet. I'll be at a business convention thing. So, that and eating and sleep basically. Room with three women old enough to be my mom (one who is too). Anyways, that means full hiatus from July 14th to July 18th. I shall see you all when I get back and character rights are below.

Hi, guys! If you noticed, I've been dropping tags and the like around here. I'm sort of not all here, very scatter brained (as if this is new), but I'm in the process of trying to find a new job. Though last week and through this week, I'm trying to assemble an art portfolio for job hunting reasons.

As such, I think I should probably call a semi-hiatus because I don't have the history for being capable of going fully, yet. I promise it'll be THIS WEEK only, because this week is going to be busy for me. Plus, I need to take a few breaks away from the computer. All my girls are still here, I'll just be slower than usual. And this obviously affects this one right here, along with theotokos and anmealltach.

Hey, everyone! I am going to be moving across the country towards the end of next week. This is an actual road trip, which means I'll actually be away from an internet connection. And of course, after that I will be settling in my new home and (unfortunately) saying goodbye to people.

So I will have a full hiatus from July 15th to around July 26th. Both Sylar (makes_you_tick) and Spike (lessritual) will be leaving the City late July 15th- Sylar will leave directly after holding his horology class. And Spike may not return. I love him, but I have a new character in the works. We'll see how that goes.

I haven't really been tagging around much lately, and I apologize- packing's caught up with me more than expected, and I've gone and given myself a migraine. So from now until I move, just consider me on semi-hiatus, because I'm assuming it's just going to get busier. I will keep up with my Sylar post, and possibly others, but I may be rather fail at it. My apologies.

So, my involvement here at Poly has been spotty so far and mostly reflexive rather than pro-active. Which isn't good when you don't have tons and tons of CR to rest your laurels on. Not that anyone's been anything but friendly, and not that I haven't gotten plenty of responses to posts--just, depending on people to come to me every time seems wrong.

Tl;dr, Maya is looking for a job. Although she'll probably be doing some crazy fun-tiemz investigation of paranormal stuff on the side because she loves that stuff, I was hoping to maybe get her involved working with The City's police force. Although she's a little less than useless when it comes to investigating, she's pretty handy, being a living lie-detector and all.

Anyone know where I can get a hold of someone involved with the police force to work out some kind of plot dealio?

Thanks to events going down on Sunday night, Sora's going dark side for a week. Naturally, this means that we're looking for volunteers to fight him during the week while he runs vaguely amok! Victories or losses depend on how strong your character is.

Volunteers receive:
- a chance to find more motivation, whether it be to train or to finally get a flashlight for all those monsters in the night.
- trauma injuries for their friends to fuss over. Gravity of the attacks can vary.
- a really awkward boy-hero apology delivered one week afterwards.

Since anti-Sora travels in shadows, people are also free to spot a pair of yellow eyes lurking around in their ceilings corners before vanishing. If anybody really needed that extra bit of paranoia.

I decided to pick up Katan on Christmas Eve, 2007, in the middle of midnight services at church. How's that for being pinged for a character, and an Angel Sanctuary character at that? And I applied for him that January following. So he's been here for about a year and a half now, both with one of the most amazing Rosiels ever, which was fantastic, and without Rosiel, which was an interesting challenge. He's been great fun and he made me kill my tl;dr a little (but just a little).

But this 4th Wall Day, Rosiel paid a visit to the City. And, like every time before Katan went immediately to his side. And, like every time before, he tried to leave when Rosiel left.

This time he made it.

It's time for the poor Grigori-turned-Cherub to go back, finish that fall from the cliff, finally crash through the roof of the Tower of Etemenanki and land on the ground floor of the tower rather than in the middle of Misery Square, and reach the end of his story--and perhaps the beginning again as well.

Keats is a writer for Unknown Realms, an occult magazine. Due to some mishaps regarding his inability to not poke at interesting things, Keats is now a Guardian of the Netherworld. Sure, it sounds fancy, but basically it only means he has the ability to go between the land of the living and the land of the dead. Keats uses this ability now to make his living, inspecting cases of "haunting" and giving messages to or from loved ones who have crossed over. His rates vary depending on when his rent is do, how hungry he is, and if he likes you. He's extremely skeptical and has a very firm understanding of ghosts, that's what brought him to the city in the first place.

I'm geeked to play him, I'll be honest. I haven't RPed in a long time and am really raring to go. If anyone wants to chat, throw plots or anything of that nature, let me know! You can reach me by comment or AIM disregarddeath.

How shall they be doing this? Blowing up a kitchen? Performing a daring panty raid? Tagging buildings with nasty comments towards various characters? Releasing mice into a locker room full of nubile women? No. It's better than all those combined, but your mileage may vary.

Anyways they're going to the Underground on their own with no adult supervision. So before these two end up on the back of a milk carton, both me and Lassie are looking for folk who are interested in people creating a search party to look for the two silly boys after their alibis are discovered to be entirely false. I'm finally back from Anime Expo, but I've returned with some sort of bug. I'm going off hiatus for now, though I may be a bit spotty with activity depending on how I feel.

Apparently I have issues with anti-social boys. So because of this, I've picked up yet another boy, Kiyokazu Fujimoto from the adorable CLAMP series Kobato.

Fujimoto will whore himself out for part time jobs...so feel free to hire him out at will, the more embarrassing the better. He's not really used to having much free time so I imagine he'll be fairly restless once he arrives. Most of his jobs are temporary and require little experience...such as delivering pizzas or dressing as stuffed animals for special events. Really...feel free to contact me if you have any odd jobs or embarrassing events that he could be paid for that no one else would ever want to do. As long as you pay him, FUJIMOTO IS YOUR MAN!!

Other than that...I'm excited to be bringing him into the City. Please friend add part_time_pro or hover part_time_pro

Alright, again with my spam of these unplanned things... Beach Times! Uta's had a rough 4th Wall curse, so she's invited a few people to the beach (monday morning, polytime):

Yuuko, Amu, Konata, Alphonse, and Omi

But because inviting Al might equal adding Ed into the mix...
As well as Yuuko might go with Mokona, Clow, Watanuki, and Doumeki...
And then Omi would mean the entire Weiss Crew... and Umi too...
Not to mention Uta'll be inviting Hiiragi and Jun at some point...

I think most of us are exhausted from 4th wall, so I'm not sure about logging this out. However, I'd like to know who's going/willing to go so that the muns can all be on the same page... Kinda like the snowball fight gone wild. *stares at Yuuki*

She has a new swimsuit to show off... I have no idea what yet, but probably something that will make Hiiragi have a nosebleed.

Hey, hey!

As some of you may already know, I am off on a trip! Not a long one, really, but the internet connection will be spotty at best. I'm going home to Manila, Philippines to see some friends and family before I ship off to the US for university in August. More on that when the time comes. ;)

Captain Short will be heading back to Ireland for a breather. Crew, friends and colleagues may notice later today that she never returned home from patrol/office and is uncharacteristically not answering any attempts to contact her. There will be a veeery slight update to her as well, more on that when I return! Because timezones can sometimes be awesome, she'll probably return on the last day of grab bag, since 13th here is still the 12th there. /sneaky

Miss Weasley is remaining in the City! Rights go to her crew, otherwise, she's just doing her thing. Flying, making tea, being a little sister to Ron in the most annoying endearing of ways, etc.

If I do get online (be it at a friend's house or mom's laptop on sketchy wifi), I'll be sure to check my email and hop on Messengers if I can! Otherwise, see you lovely folks next week.

Well okay, I thought my problems were going to get a bit better, but... it seems they are not just yet. As well as that, I'm having terrible internet connection problems and have no idea how I'm going to work that out, so... yeah, this is Mica yet again taking a hiatus. Just imagine something bad happened to Flute again and that's why she's not around, it'c IC enough. D8;;

It may end up lasting until the end of the month, but I'm going to try not to let it go that long. I can't make any promises, but I'm gonig to try, and see where it goes.
