First of all, I wish this artist would have put a face mask on the woman (like the cyclists arriving in Beijing.) While it would not have added to the message of the 'toon, it would have been kinda funny.

Secondly, what's the deal with Hillary supporters. I was listening to NPR this morning and heard stuff like

- women voters saying they think we should have a women in office before a black man
- this was our time and it was "stolen" from us
- One woman was saying that at work there's a glass ceiling where all these women at the office are hired into entry level positions, the work hard, learn the ropes, but then when a management position opens up it goes to the son of the bosses friend and the primary felt the same way.

I can understand how it can "feel" that way, but do they really think it "is" that way? Now, I'm not black and I'm not a woman, so I guess I just don't get it. But it sounds like these people are treating it the same way I treat the NFL. When my team loses in the playoffs (which they always do), I usually get pretty angry at the refs for their unfair calls, and I lose interest in the Superbowl. Is this what's going on here?

Did this one in a hurry and my artistic skills are lacking, as you can tell. Drawing a war torn nation is harder than I thought it'd be. My tanks look the same as they did in 2nd grade, too. Huh.

Perhaps if Russia had waited a week or so, their entry would have been put in a better light?

I have used my leet ms paint skillz to modify the original a little...

And this, in case anyone's confused, is why nobody will trust Russia anymore. No matter what one thinks of who's right and wrong in current situation.

I could also add "1939", as "securing native population's safety" was exactly the same excuse Soviets used in September 1939 when invading Poland...
