AboutThis community is to post political cartoons, discuss them, etc. Any type of political humor is acceptable, including other (non-cartoon) images and (text only) jokes.
This community is a open-for-everyone community, but don't abuse this policy for spewing trash. Post often or not at all, but remember what you put in to a group like this is what you'll get out of it.
The major rules of this community are as follows:
1. Post any kind of political cartoon or joke you want, I don't care where it lies on the political spectrum as long as it's political and cartoonish or humorous. Again I repeat, I DON'T CARE WHICH SIDE OF THE POLITICAL SPECTRUM IT IS ON.
Just because another political cartoons community is left-leaning, it does not mean in any shape or form that we are going to be right-leaning or even center-right leaning. This community is open for everyone and I'd like for it to remain so. I used to be a moderate once and as much as I am frustrated with the other side at times, I know this country is going to go nowhere without cooperation and non-partisanship.
With that being said, expect your moderators to be somewhat right-leaning. Expect them to post cartoons that are right leaning, expect them to make comments that are right-leaning, but in no way shape or form should you expect them to moderate as right-leaning moderators. Our job is to moderate fairly and honestly. We will try our best not to take sides. Since this site is open for everyone and shall remain so, this should be easily done.
2. Now onto the sticky part: Insults. In the other community insults and flaming are widely accepted. While I have been known to lose my cool in the past and attack my opponents, I do not want this community to turn into an insult fest. This community shall hold its head high and proud and be above insults and a decorum less than ideal. We shall discuss and call out members on their lies, but do not in any way insult another member of this community.
