    Dance tickets available!! (Slightly OT)
As you all may know by now, I will be involved in a dance performance this weekend with my size-diverse dance company, Mass Movement. Shows will be Friday the 14th and Saturday the 15th at 8:00 PM at the CounterPulse at 1310 Mission St.

The reason I bring this up is that I have some advance tickets for sale, and I'll be bringing them to Poker Night tomorrow. They're $20 apiece.

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

    Reminder...
Doing the Sunday reminder as Matt's busy ironing and packing madly. He's off to Vegas again tomorrow morning at around 4, so no poker night again. Hopefully we can pick it up again the following Monday as I know he'll be craving the company of friends (shake off the "creepy lawyers all around me" vibe - yes, there is one that is really that bad).

This is the home stretch for the case. Good Luck, Matt!

    Transportation assistance possibly needed
If we have quorum tomorrow, [info]riseorbleed and I are up for attending. The only possible glitch lies in the fact that the Oldsmobile may not be ready to collect by then (Midas had to special-order a part, and it might not get here in time for them to work on the car on Monday).

If we do indeed have the event, would someone be interested in either giving us a lift or picking us up from CV BART?

    Leftovers, anyone?
Is there any interest in doing a sort of leftovers potluck?

I have more leftovers than I want to eat. 3 people had to cancel after I went grocery shopping.

smoked turkey breast - enough for 3
sweet potatoes - enough for 2 people
    stuffing - enough for 8.
2 kinds of pie - enough for 8 (& whipped cream)
Baked acorn squash - enough for 6-8
salad makings - whole head of lettuce, half cup mushrooms, cans of olives, sour cream, grated cheese
    deviled eggs - about 6
    left over cranberry
    coffee for an army
    carrots,
    potatoes,
    butter,
cream cheese - 4 unopened packages

Some of it needs to be cooked, but I'm off today and I would rather cook it for this evening than throw it away,

    You are hereby warned.
Caution: Do Not Hug The Jo Tonight! Sore throat and feeling icky - think I'm getting sick. I'll keep my distance, so you lot will be safe so long as there's no contact. But no cuddles (bah!), or I refuse any responsibility for the outcome.

Current Mood: Grumpy - Don't wanna get sick.

    Quick Update and Reminder...
Tonight's Poker Night is planned to start at 5:00, not 7:00. If you can't make it 'til 7:00, it's not a problem, but given the recent inability to start the evening before 8:30 (leaving less time for poker), I am going to ask everyone to try to get to the evening by 7:00 (or 5:00 tonight) as much as you can. Thanks!

In case my forgetfulness is contagious
    Hey folks!

Don't forget that tonight is an early start to poker (5:00, I believe Matt told me). I'll have him confirm, but he says everyone was pretty clear on it last time. Still, with my memory, I'd completely forgotten and needed reminding, so just in case any of you lot have had a "whoops, there goes my brain" moment in the past week, I figured I'd post a reminder.

So you are now officially reminded. 5:00. Be there, people! :-P
