#170. Chinchou the lantern Pokemon
To scare away predators, Chinchou discharges positive and negative ions from its antennae. It lives at depths below the sun's rays and
uses flashes of light to communicate with its fellows.




#171.Lanturn the "Star of the Deep" Pokemon
Lanturn's light can illuminate the ocean's surface from a depth of three miles. It uses this light to lure in its prey and then immobilises them with an intense blinding flash, before gulping them down in its mighty maw. This light is created by a chemical reaction between bacteria and the fluid within the antennae.
