I tried writing, but it turned out very terrible. Maybe I'll do it for a later pokemon.

You know, the way they put bugs in them? ... Anyway...

Pidgey was never my favourite pokemon, but it was always in my party for a long time. This is because it grew so fast. I usually had a higher-level Pidgeotto than my starter until Vermillion City. It was also my Flyer.


Actually, now that I think of it, how DID that guy with the level 20 Butterfree beat me? Maybe my Pidgeotto fainted earlier and I didn't go back and heal because I was almost there?

Hey, so this one time, I was walking down a hill, and something landed on my neck. I bent it back, to trap the thing and see what it was, and then it stung me. It was a wasp. But I was lucky. Could you imagine if THESE were real?


Man.

I didn't want to knock Kakuna down, though... Could you imagine what its parent Beedrill (or Beedrill and Ditto, I make no judgments) would do to me?



Poor Kakuna, don't worry, soon you'll evolve into the much more mobile Beedrill, and then I can draw you with more awesomeness. And please don't sting me when you do.

Hmm... I'm starting to see why the rest of you dislike the bugs. They're not very... varied.

This is because that guy with the level twenty butterfree is SO DARN HARD! I think he was part of the reason I started starting with Charmander.


The green is... I dunno. Green stuff. Butterfree live in forests, right? Those are green... It's so you can see the antennae, just go with it.

I don't dislike Metapod, I really don't. It's just... I've been trying to draw all the pokemon in nonstandard poses (or at least different from the ones I found, except possibly Charmeleon) and Metapod just doesn't pose. At all. So I knocked him over.

Caterpie. The one everyone seems to say "Meh" about. CATERPIE IS AWESOME! Look:



It is also tiny.

Hmm... After Wartortle, Blastoise was a bit of an evolutionary letdown. I mean, the cannons are cool, but where'd the ears and tail go? They were AWESOME. Oh well, here it is:

Hey, pokenauts! Isn't Charmeleon cool!? Goodness, just look at how tough it is, based on its snarl! Clearly this is the coolest pokemon.



I tried on the fire, I really did. Please forgive my sarcasm, too.

I will never top this as the worst pokemon to draw. NEVER. But as much as I disliked drawing Disgusto here, the Venusaur is asleep, not dead. I'm not that spiteful.



I AM spiteful enough to put Charmander in the same post, though.



HOW TERRIBLE TO BE VENUSAUR!

Ivysaur was SO awesome in Red/Blue. He was my first starter, but that wasn't the reason I liked him so much. It was his pokédex picture, the one where he was standing up.



After the first few games, I switched to Charmander. I think it was the anime that made me do it.
