Sorry for the long absence, I haven't been in the mood to draw for the past week, so I spent my time playing that new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon sequel that just came out. Boy, was it addictive! Too addictive as a matter of fact.

Speaking of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, time for my next entry!

Meganium, the oldest sister, needs to set an example of class and style for her younger, impressionable siblings. What better way than with a cloche hat?


Every on-fire pokemon needs a brolly! Also, I figured his feet might get cold, being so far away from the fire and all. (I almost gave him a nose-warmer too but that was just too weird.)

Maybe my LJ name is smellymo, but you pokenauts can call me paint wingull!

I have drawn bulbasaur about a thousand times..
I tried to make him more quadrupedal and not as froggy like but I think I will try to stick closer to the original designs because I don't think this turned out very bulbasaur-y.

Anyway, here he is!

This time around I'm gonna go with themes! I'll switch themes every 8-10 pokemon or so. Unless I run out of themes that interest me in which case I'll just do whatever.

Putting away the 24-box of crayons and digging out my hundreds of prismacolor markers. Poor things haven't been used in at least 2 years (more like 3). They seem to still work (most of them) so, good. :)

Apologies in advance for any crappy pixelation when it comes to reds. My scanner hates them.

I sometimes wonder if the light from their tails cast frightening shadows in the dark. It's part of their body, so I guess they just have to get used to it. Or maybe the flame is a welcome source of light and warmth in dark, scary places. Hmm.

Then, to you Pokenauts, I was PoussiFOU.
Until I disappeared for like a year.
But now I am back and have gender-fixed my name, so to you Pokenauts I am now Poussifolle!

To celebrate my triumphant return, I'm starting generation 1 ALL OVER AGAIN and I swear I'll get farther than Pidgey this time.


I was trying something new style-wise here, I'm not quite sure what to think of it.
