Starter Icons? [Thursday 10 Jul 2008 @ 10:36pm] sarahpom83 I'm requesting if any of you have made any Icons of the starter pokemon, I decided to make a club kind of thing for the starter pokemon and need a cool Icon for it. http://community.livejournal.com/starterpkmnclub/ which I'll be working on it some more tomorrow. Its due to that the starter pokemon club on the serebii.net forum got closed down because a lot of drama went on and I decided if you couldn't create a new one there then why not create one here for those whom still want to be into it, and if they got any LJ accounts. Also, another event I am working on has been posted as well on the community info. Ok, for the winners I have finished the banners. These banners are to posted in your profile symbolizing your accomplishment. You can place them anywhere you want though... Our lucky first placer has already received their 100 user pic add on. These banners will be hosted on my photobucket account for 2 weeks... after that I will remove them from my account, so don't direct link these images. Simply save them and upload them to your own image hosting account. I am actually pleased how these one turned out... they are colored based on the icons... it is a major improvement from the ones I used to do. Oh the horror... Future Icon Contest [Monday 23 Jun 2008 @ 11:41pm] true_sephiroth Vote here Well, judging by the feedback and good reviews of the summer icon contest event... I will indeed be doing two more themed icon contest for this year. Each of them will be slightly different in the rules though... that is just to make them harder and to make it harder for people to make icons for the contest in advance. As for prizes... again, I will be paying for a fairly good reward for the winner of that icon contest out of my own pocket... as for what it is... I do not know... Why am I doing this? Well... this is because this was my second community and out of my 15-20 odd communities, this is my most popular and active... this is my baby... To be fair...
