poke help?
okay fellow pokepeople. I have ranger pearl, blue rescue, and the newestone. What I'm asking is what do u do to keep from getting bored? I play for a while but the same battle gets kinda boring. What are ur suggestions?

I restart one of the standard games (so, Diamond/Pearl, Fire Red/Leaf Green, etc) and give myself some kind of little challenge for the game. Like, make a team of pokemon only from before the first badge (within reason, obviously), or build a team with a theme of some kind, like... say, all flying/levitating pokemon, or all blue pokemon, or something.

Or I try my hand at attempting to breed moves onto a pokemon, or I EV-train a couple of babies, or I try my hand at chaining (I kind of suck at that, though). Some of that stuff is easier when you're done the game though, or at least past a certain point.

I can't help you with Ranger (hated it) or the Mystery Dungeon ones either, I enjoy the story mode for those but tend to get bored there myself.

If all else fails, I shut off the DS and go do something else.

I had gotten bored of Diamond soon after the Elite Four... and trying to use the GBA games to get the insert-findable Poke, and swarms, and chaining...

So I stopped playing for nearly 9 months. It helped.
