It's based on Destiny Deoxys, where Deoxys was encountered in the Artic.

Yes, I know, it's a silly reason for that hold item. Manaphy holding a red scarf made much more sense for an anime tie-in.

not exactly related to the giveaway, but i'm also trying to get back into pokemon again. i played through pearl and got the national dex but got bored after not too long (usually loss interest after i beat the elite four). anyway, not really sure how to start getting back into it. i know i could do the 100 consecutive fights, but i'd probably need to get some better pokemon for it.

I beat Diamond, then my file corrupted, so I traded it in for a copy of Pearl and now I'm working through that. I think I have four badges and have had four badges for the last six months.

I don't see myself getting Deoxys. It's just... eh. I guess it doesn't help that I managed to get a couple Deoxys off the GTS when people were willing to give them up for my Munchlaxes and Spiritombs last year.
