Hello everyone! I was wondering if someone could help me with my wifi. I've always had horrible luck with internet, electronics, wifi, everything. The universe seems to hate me like that. I've recently learned how to use AR and Pokesav so I'm trying to give back to ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) pokemon and pokewifi by giving away shinies and legendaries for fodder. The thing is, for some reason, I'm only able to trade with certain people. I've turned off my routers Internet Protection, Firewall, & Security. I've even made it public hoping that would help. I'm able to trade with 2 people and and then 2 other people, I'm not able to. And on the other hand I see people trading left and right with no problem at all. I can't for the life of me figure out why! I've gone to tech support on nintendo's wifi website and nothing...alot of people dont get the pokemon I'm offering/promising to them

Okay, that problem has been fixed. Our Wii can now access the interwebs. Now I have ANOTHER issue.
I've been trying to get a WiFi battle on PBR for some time now. They keep telling me that there's always at least some Pokemon that can't be in that specific battle.
First, I made them all level 50. It said no.
I then took out my hacked pokemon, and made them all from either my game or my sisters' that she traded to me. It said no again.
Does it not like nicknames? What is PBR's deal here?!
Any ideas? I've been googling this, but to no avail. |

Since I can't get the wifi club to function properly (even if we're both online and connected, my friends and I simply don't appear on eachothers' screens), I will have to get all my version-exclusives and a good deal of previous generations' pokémon through the GTS. The problem is, I'll need to have 'seen' them in order to be able to search for them.
Is there anyplace in-game where I might run into them and have them registered as seen? I know you can see almost everything in the Battle Tower, but I'm pretty sure the 'dex doesn't register those. |

| WiFi issues |

I was trying to trade with someone over WiFi yesterday, and it kept disconneecting one of us when we tried to trade. It came up with an error message saying the error code (I think it was 86420, but not sure) and that I should look it up on nintendowifi.co.uk. Which is helpful, because the troubleshooting section on there doesn't work.
Anyway, I Googled the code and found this page, where you can look up error codes. Hope that helps someone :-)
For error code 86420, it asks if you get that error whenever you try to connect, or just with a particular friend. So I was wondering if some lovely person would mind trying to connect with me. If we get to the screen where you see both teams of Pokemon, that means it's okay, so we can disconnect after that.

This is my first time posting (although I've stalked for a few weeks), so I should probably introduce myself. My name is Betsy and I'm 13 years old. I currently own Pokemon Diamond, FireRed, Emerald, and Dungeon. My collection of Pokemon is yet minuscule, and it's not worth even posting XD.
Well, the real reason I'm posting regards the GTS. First, my friend doesn't have a modem in her home. How would she connect to the GTS? Does she have to buy a modem or (I'm still looking this up) a WiFi Stick?
Secondly...yesterday was my first day of GTS-ing because I was too lazy to actually set it up before. So, I was extremely excited today when I found a shiny Phione. Having no idea if it was rare or not (do shinies appear often on the GTS?), I looked at what the person wanted. Any gender and level Articuno. SFNVSDHUKGYVKF. I quickly switched to FR to see if I had an Articuno, which I did. I was bummed though, because I couldn't duplicate it before, since I don't have another GBA/SP to trade it over to Emerald. Right. Anyhow, it took a while to delete Fly since I had no idea where the Move Deleter was T-T. Finally, I managed to migrate it over. Back to the GTS, I found it was still there. YESSSSSSS. I traded, and all's happy.
I'm not sure if it's legit or not...? But it was apparently hatched...any way to make sure it won't mess up my game?
I feel really stupid asking, but what's the different between zukans, kids, etc? |

Quick question! I hope it is okay to ask.
My computer runs Windows Me, and I was wondering if it would work with the Nintendo USB connector. Has anybody else tried it and gotten it to work? I figured I'd ask first before possibly causing my computer to freeze or something bad like that, and if somebody in the future wanted to know. Thanks guys! |

while on vacation this weekend, i attempted to hack into the wireless internet of the hotel i was in [but every time i almost was connected to wi-fi, the hotel must have hacked off the connection] to see if i could catch a friend for an impromptu battle [and get my ass royally kicked. XD] and use the gts for the first time.
is there a certain length of time that you can leave your pokemon on the gts? the next time i'll be able to use wifi is when i move into college [3 more weeks! *confetti*] and that is quite a period of time to not check back.
and while i'm thinking about it, i want to get 6 pokemon to level 100 in about 2 weeks. any reccomendations for good training areas? |

I'm gonna be heading down to the wifi hotspot later on today (it's currently 7:45 am in my timezone). Is there anybody with me who can whip up a set of eggs for each of the Johto Starters? If you can please leave your Aim or Yahoo instant messenger handle in a reply, so when I go I'll be able to IM you when I'm ready on my laptop.
If you're not willing to just give them away I can offer eggs of any starters BUT the Johto ones.
