| Silly Breeding Question |

Okay! So I'm pretty much finished in-game, but I don't want to delete my file due to the obscene amount of usable and/or legendary Pokemon on my Ranch. Anyway, I used my Grass Knot TM on my Roserade, not thinking about the fact that I couldn't use it again if I wanted, say, an Infernape with Grass Knot at a later point, for competitive purposes.
Which brings me back to Ranch...Hayley's trade Pikachu has Grass Knot, and it's male, so can that become an egg move for other Pokemon, or am I out of luck? |

I'm going through my Pokémon raising spreadsheet (yeah, I'm a huge dork), formulating movesets for all the Pokés I want to raise and stuff, and I'm wondering if other folks here do the same thing. Or at the very least, what you're doing in the game right now. I'm not talking about all the people who are still going through the RPG portion. I'm talking the competitive battlers, the Battle Towerers, the hardcore breeders who breed just for the sake of it.
Right now, I'm steady hatching eggs right now. I've recently come across an Action Replay, so the actual training part has been cut down from a week to a few hours (I don't hack Pokémon... I just hack Rare Candies, TMs and money), so I was afraid I'd run out of critters to train before I had to breed them. I just got done breeding a Jolly Dugtrio to put a Choice Band on. I'm taking a break to beat up on the Elite Four again, just because I'm bored.
The last Pokémon I raised was my Modest Special Sweeper Lucario. I'll debut it in battle soon, but if you want a preview, it's highlighted in my Fighting Monotype Team.

I've got (no more than) 24 Pokemon that have to be moved from one game cartridge to another. Hopefully I can slash that number down to 18-ish but that's still a good bit more than I want to risk trading with myself over the GTS. So I turn to you, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) pokemon, in my hour of need.
In return for helping me trade all my Pokemon from one game to another, I'm offering pretty shinies in the form of eggs, Pokemon, or TMs. I've got 90+ of each TM so that's not a problem and
is what I have and therefore can breed for you. I also have
available for whoever helps. Post post post tonight (it's Wednesday ~11 p.m. my time at time of posting) and I'll check everything in the morning and get everything together and trade tomorrow midday/afternoonish if that's okay with you.

E: Durr, I forgot something.
They are most definitely hacked. I know I forgot to list a Pokeball on two of them but I think that might be the only thing I missed in making them. You can have them if you want them (and if they'll trade!) but they are most definitely not legit and I highly discourage you from using them competitively. I'm also pretty sure they all have perfect stats (for their species and level) and IVs. |

Remember me? I was the one that had an insane amount of Eevees? Well I still have a ton of eevees, but I'm also in the process of breeding Chimchar, Charmander, and Phiones. If you would like one, please comment with a pokemon you'd like to offer. Right now I still am looking for the other starters and such and if you want a certain nature/gender, I'm probably going to try to breed until I get a shiny (hopeless? I've never seen a shiny in my game, so why not?), so don't hesitate to ask.

if i were to breed my flareon with my ditto would i get another flareon or another evee? k thanks!

So I bred two Snorlaxes, spent ages hatching the egg and... got another Snorlax. Where's my precious cuddly baby Munchlax? D: I'm guessing I should make either of the parents hold something, but I couldn't find any specific info on this.

some random and not-so-random D/P questions
-Is there some way to guarantee that two Pokemon will get along/like each other in the daycare? like natures, level, etc. [edit]other than breedable/non-breedable species (hehe, wasn't specific enough ^_^;;)
& did anyone else find that a traded Poke + a self-caught Poke seem to like each other more than two self-caught ones? (or is it just me?) :/
-If I got a hacked Pokemon off GTS, (how) will it affect my game?
-the Burmy kid in Pastoria...does he give you anything if you show him all the Burmy forms?
-I didn't really find out about the whole figurines/zukans/etc scene until just recently, so out of curiosity, would someone be kind enough to classify some of mine? They're all 5+ years old, mostly first-gen pokes, and most of them have a Tomy/Auldey imprint on the back.

so i was trying to breed my female nidoran with a ditto to get another female nidoran and for some reason i kept getting the male version. i know that it can learn egg moves so i know it must be possible to breed a female. i'm just wondering if anyone knows how i might go about doing that?

Hey everyone, I have some quick and simple questions about breeding.
I'm IV breeding right now, and I finally finished getting the Eevee I wanted, which took forever. Now I need to breed Miltank and Staryu. The problem is that Miltank is always female, so I need to breed it with a Ditto. I gave an Everstone to my Adamant female Miltank, but all my eggs have different natures. Does Everstone passing down natures not work with Ditto, or, does it not work with only-female Pokemon, or, am I just insane?
As for Staryu, is there a way to pass down natures? The Pokemon with Everstone needs to be female, so I'm assuming no.
If I indeed cannot pass down these natures, then I cannot IV breed the Pokemon I want. Starmie is a great special sweeper/spinner, and Miltank is an amazing cleric/tank. Should I just grab one with the right nature and start EV training? |

Is it possible to breed an Eevee with both Wish and Yawn?
I've been looking at breeding chains for it but I can't for the life of me figure out one that would actually work.
edit: I thought about Smeargle but I can't think of where i could get both wish and yawn off of pokemon in the wild

Hiya! =^^=
So i've been hatching Eevees' on and off for a few days now. As usual, I went to the Day Care man outside to pick up my egg then I went inside to change my current male pokemon (a Meowth that 'Didn't seem to like her very much'.) This time when I went inside, the Day Care Lady told me her husband was looking for me. I went back outside and received a second egg!
Can anyone clue me in as to why/how this happened? |

| Working on breeding, wanting some advice. |

Okay: I'm about to breed some special Skorupi. They'll be bred between another Skorupi (which I may evolve first) and a Dustox (male), and the moves I'm passing down from the Dustox will be Protect and Whirlwind. Once this Skorupi is bred, I'm gonna try to teach it Toxic Spikes, and that'll make for an interesting combo right there.
The question is, what do I do for the last move?
At first, I thought my Sludge Bomb TM would be good because of how strong it is, but then remembered Steel types can't be poisoned or hit by Poison moves.
My friend suggested Ice Fang (Because it was mainly his idea first) through Heart Scale when it evolves, but I'm not too sure how that will work out. It'll handle the only true weakness Drapion (As a Poison/Dark type) has in Ground types, but I'm still worried about all those Steel types.
Does anybody have advice on which move to use, or if it would be good to breed in another move or teach via TM? Any suggestions will be appreciated! Thanks!
And yeah, it may be best to just Whirlwind any Steel types out of the arena... I'm still not sure. |

I'm trying to get a Shroomish to hatch with the abilities 'False Swipe' and 'Spore,' and something is not working right.
I have a Shroomish and I have a Paras. I bred 'False Swipe' into my male Paras and then taught him 'Spore.' I'm breeding him with a female Shroomish, in the hope that the babies will start with both abilities, but they are only picking up 'False Swipe.'
Bulbapedia says that if one or both parents know an ability that the baby can potentially learn by leveling, the ability will get passed along. Since Paras learned 'Spore' at level 17 and Shroomish can potentially learn 'Spore' at level 45, why aren't the babies learning 'Spore?' |

Does anyone know if you breed egg-moves onto a pokemon, but then decide to overwrite them, can you use the Move-Relearner to remember them again?

I'm confused as to how IVs are generated. Are they completely random values, does it average the IVs of the pokemon you breed, does either parent's IVs have any effect on what the offspring's is? What? |

Sorry I've got another question. ^^; And sorry if it's already been asked...I tried to read the entires back pretty far but I didn't see this question, so here it is.
Is a pokemon inside an egg already predetermined if it is a shiny or not? Or if you kept restarting could it possibly out of one of those 92402 restarting times be a shiny?
I hope this question makes sense. |

I have never bred a pokemon for moves on purpose, so it's a bit confusing when I get beyond the very basics.
Example: Eevee can learn Yawn and Tickle as egg moves. I know Aipom learns tickle, and Bidoof learns Yawn. How would I get BOTH of those on the same Eevee? |
