STOOPID WIFI! I was having an awesome battle w/raichu26 (html is not playing nice right now), we were down to our last pokes, and I LOST MY BLOODY CONNECTION.
But, things I learned from my first monotype vs. monotype battle...
We do not like Spirtbomb. No we do not.
Tyranitar is not part Dragon. We thought He was. He is not.
Walls do not fair well against a pokemon that has used Dragon Dance like 5 times already.
But anyway, I've got a question. Have you ever been in the middle of a really fun battle when WiFi died on you?
Or, maybe you've had an opponent quit in the heat of battle?
How'd it make you feel?

Imagine. You're in a double battle. You order pokémon X and Y to attack. Pokémon X strikes first, and kills one of the opponents. Your pokémon gain experience, and Y gains a level. It wants to learn a new move, but already knows four of them. You decide to make it forget the move you just ordered to use. What would happen? I've had the chance a couple of times now (but didn't want to delete my good move), it's made me pretty curious. :P |

| Stealing items with Covet |

I'm currently trying to get a Magmarizer (or whatever it's called) by using Covet and, having never used the attack before, I have a few questions:
1. If the enemy is holding an item, does Covet have a 100% chance of stealing it?
2. Do you still get to steal the item if using Covet knocks the enemy Pokemon out?
3. Is Thief exactly the same but just Dark instead of Normal?
4. Does anyone happen to have a Pokemon with the Frisk ability that they want to trade for a Magby or any of the Pokemon on my available Pokemon list?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

| Wi-Fi Battle Tower Team? |

I tried the Wi-Fi Challenge in the Battle Tower last night and got my booty handed to me. ;_;
I've been using Weavile, Lucario, and Milotic, and I got knocked out in less than two bouts. So, I was wondering, do you guys play there often? Who do you have on your three Pokemon team that has been successful?
I think I'd probably have more fun just playing against my friends, but I did want to try the Battle Tower out. :) |
