Yeah, so my AR decided it was going to erase all the codes I had in it. Now I'm stuck with an empty AR and no way to restore the codes, since both the computers in my house won't connect to my DS. Fuck.
Is there any way I can restore the codes without having to connect it to a computer? |

| AR Trouble? |

I'm not sure if this post is on-topic/allowed (it's about my Action Replay, but I bought it for my Diamond game, so perhaps it counts?), so mods delete it if necessary D:
Today I bought myself an Action Replay at Target (whoo). I think it's an older version because there is a large portion that sticks out rather than a small portion or none at all. So I put it in, and it loads normally, sending me to the AR screen. I stick my copy of Diamond in the second slot, and my fingers somehow slip. The AR comes out of the DS slot. I quickly put it back in, and notice (barely) that it says "Insert DS Game Card" even though Diamond is already inserted. I shrug and switch my DS Lite off and on again...and learn that my DS doesn't even recognize the AR! And here I am now, freaking out because I think I just wasted $20. So far I have tried:
1) A + B + Start + Select 2) Blowing on my DS card slot repeatedly (I still am X_X) 3) Holding the AR tightly in 4) Starting with Pokemon Diamond already in the second slot
Please help me D: Also, I don't know if it's relevant, but my Diamond game works fine when I load it.
Note: It just loads to the main screen. I don't see the words "The product is not..." etc. |

If I were to purchase an Action Replay for the purpose of getting myself infinite amounts of TMs and Rare Candies without the pain of Wi-Fi trading on my existing Diamond save file, how much of a chance would there be of it corrupting my data and wiping out all my hard work to date? |

I hope this is allowed. :O
Does anyone have an AR code that lets you set an egg's particular IV to 31? (Or whatever it is that's legally maxed, without turning it into a bad egg.) I don't plan on using them in hardcore battles, just on PBR and in the battle tower thing in pearl. I don't have enough tolerance to IV breed for everything I want to do. :P
Thanks! |

How do you make pokemon you already have shiny with an AR?
And I can't quite figure out how to put codes in. o_O The codes are multi-row and there is only one row to put codes in? Do you have to do them all individually? D:
ETA: I found the code that I wanted, but I still can't figure out how to put it in. It's really, really long and there's no space for it? o_o can someone explain this to me?
Also, how do you get pokesav files onto the game? D: |

| Action Reply codes for Pokemon Diamond |
[Dec. 28th, 2007|11:58 am] |
Hello!
Yesterday I purchased an Action Replay for the Nintendo DS & was wondering if anyone knew codes for Mew, Celebi, & Jirachi in Pokemon Diamond.
I *know* that this is technically cheating, but I've always wanted these Pokemon (I've wanted Mew ever since the days if Red & Blue, basically), & really only play Pokemon for fun.
Also, If anyone knew the codes for their shiney forms as well, that'd be great.

| action replay stuff |

Hey, all. :3
Today I received an Action Replay as a birthday gift from my wonderful girlfriend. However, I haven't used a cheat device since Game Genie for the Super Nintendo, so I'm very much a n00b when it comes to hacking the Pokemon games (and hacking in general, really). Is there anything I need to keep in mind while using this to make sure I don't screw up (or delete!) my save file? Also, where do you guys get good, reliable codes aside from Action Replay's default website? And lastly, is there a code somewhere out there that makes eggs hatch into shinies? (I swear I've seen someone use it before, but I've never been able to find it for myself.) Sorry if these are super basic questions - this community is just very helpful and I know there are hacking pros in these parts, so I figured I'd ask here first. :3
Thanks in advance! |

In light of the recent Nintendo banning of players who use AR codes, does anyone know if having hacked Pokémon in your possession (Darkrai, lv3 Lugia, lv15 Tyranitar, etc) will get you banned as well?
Just want to know before I try to trade and get the hammer. |
