Tons of new information, the most interesting tidbits;
- Eusine, a character from Crystal, is in the game.
- Red Gyarados appears in the Lake of Rage at Level 30.
- Latios and Latias are in the games at Level 30.
- Mewtwo is in the game.


I think Eusine being in the game is interesting, and I know a lot of you are gonna be excited about that. I'm personally relieved Red Gyarados is confirmed in the face of early rumors saying otherwise, and personally I'm hella excited about Latios and Latias in HG/SS because I've personally always considered them Johto legendaries, even if that makes no sense, both because they were in a Johto-era Pokémon movie, and because of that whole red/blue triangle thing they share with the Togepi line.



Given all these legendaries showing up in this game that weren't there before, people who wanted a 100% pure remake of HG/SS can probably kiss that idea goodbye, alongside plot changes like the Kimono Girls apparently being encountered several times. I, however, am super excited, because all I ever really wanted was a game set in Johto and preferably Team Rocket, so all these changes are super exciting.

I really don't know how many people were hoping of a carbon copy remake of G/S, but seriously, all this new stuff they're adding just sounds way too awesome to pass up.

Well, so far the changes aren't bad. ^_^ I liked the Kimono grrlz (haha). I hope at least one of those multiple encounter is still in the Ecruteak dance theatre place thingy, though.

A pure remake would probably be impossible, but I hope they still stick to some of the wonderful goodies that they first introduced all those yearsago. ;)

I'd take whatever exciting new stuff they're popping into the remakes - Mewtwo! Aaaah. Hoping they'll have more stuff available in Kanto this time compared to the original. And by gods I hope they keep the quirky things like the Clefairy Dance on Mt Moon every Monday and all the little time-based events. :)

I'm a die-hard G/S fan, and I'm glad they're switching it up a little, myself :) Curious to see Eusine in there, but no complaints here! He was a neat character, haha.

Now THATS interesting. A remake that isn't. LG and FR was more of the same, but this is starting to sound like it might actually be a continuous plot. Somehow, I like this idea better.

FUCK YEAH, EUSINE! I am SO SO SO happy he's being included. Also, it kind of, to me, says that the female character is likely just a revamp of Kris (even if I still miss the blue hair x3).

And bring on the new content! There's a reason I adored the Sevii Islands on FRLG because it was new. Yes, the pretty graphics for the rest of the game were nice, but it was still Red and Blue all over again apart from Sevii Islands. More content = EPIC WIN. *cannot wait to kick Mewtwo's ass again*

... Though I guess him being there does kill the theory that these aren't remakes of Crystal and thus new girl absolutely can't be Kris once and for all now. I'm sure she'll get some kind of name eventually, though, then we can know for sure.

Soul is the fandom name for her as the girl characters have often been named after the second games (I think, I haven't been able to follow the PokeSupe manga as I don't like reading official translations online which is ALL that available online -.-;). Still, I don't think we'll get any confirmation until the games are released and we get the preset names you can choose from.

Personally, I'm crushed that Red Gyarados event is confirmed, but this is purely for the selfish reason that it totally devalues my shiny Gyarasos I caught in Diamond.

I knew it would happen, but it still hurts that my only ever shiny has been reduced to gen 4 fodder :(

Just imagine. Team Rocket takes over the Radio Tower asking for Giovanni to come back out.

Giovanni is training hard in Mt. Mortar while listening to music from the Radio Tower. Then he hears them calling and then decides to scheme something big.

IMO it'd actually really suck if Giovanni showed up because it would take away from how insane Team Rocket is in GSC, plus I think if anything Giovanni probably did find out about the radio broadcast but ignored it. The dude quit, I don't think it'd be his style to unquit.

I always thought he should be the one who tells you that they want to be left alone and they give you (something, Macho Brace?) if you promise not to tell anyone. But no, it was some random actress.

But it'd be a nice way to put him in and not really do anything with him at the same time.

Aside from that, is the Lati@s thing really confirmed? Last I heard, it was only a rumor... would be nice if it was true though.

and what's this about level 1 Dialga/Palkia/Giratina? That somehow ... really, really amuses me. Baby time/space dragons FTW. XD Well, I'm waiting for an Arceus event to come to the states, so hopefully by the time HG/SS are available, I'll have one to use for that... >.>

=D Love the new stuff! I'm interested in the new mini-games too, just 'cause it means there'll be more things to do in Johto. So Mewtwo will be in this game too... I wonder if that means the Cerulean Cave will be open this time around, or if he'll just be somewhere else.

The new art for the beasts is great. And yay for Eusine being in there too! Maybe Kris will have a guest appearance in the game somewhere too. (I refuse to believe the new HGSS girl is supposed to be her. No way!)
